SiteMinder Named Fastest Growing Australian Software Company in Deloitte Technology Fast 500 Asia Pacific Survey
A survey this year of the fastest growing technology companies in the Asia Pacific has listed Australian online hotel distributor, SiteMinder, as the most rapidly expanding software business in Australia.
The Deloitte Technology Fast 500 Asia Pacific Awards for 2010 ranked SiteMinder at number 68 of the 500 fastest growing technology companies in the region based on revenue performance over the past two years. SiteMinder, an online channel manager which links hotels with reservation websites around the world, was recorded as achieving a 478 per cent growth in revenue over the past two years -- well above the 374 per cent average growth for the entire list of 500 companies.
SiteMinder was the highest ranking Australian company on the 'Fast 500' list under the software category.
The annual ranking, coordinated by the international professional services firm, Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu Limited, is considered one of the Asia Pacific's most respected and comprehensive surveys of innovative technology companies which have grown rapidly in recent years despite the recent economic slowdown.
SiteMinder Managing Director Mike Ford said the company's high placement in the Deloitte Technology Fast 500 rankings reflected the rapid growth of online hotel bookings and SiteMinder's role in helping hotels reach more booking sites worldwide.
