PARIS -- Ariane Systems, the world leader in self-service check-in/out technology for the hospitality industry and the creator of the revolutionary Allegro Online/Mobile/Kiosk solution, has been selected as one of just 25 companies to represent France at the upcoming 2011 European Business Awards, sponsored by HSBC. The European Business Awards is dedicated to raising the visibility and progress of companies that excel in delivering innovation and successful commercial results while acting in a socially responsible manner.
“The European Business Awards draws entrants from the very best of the business community, and given the rigor of the judging process, to be selected as a Country Representative is an extraordinary accolade for our company,” says Ariane Systems CEO Laurent Cardot. “We believe Ariane stands a great chance of further advancing in the competition, given how our technology stands to dramatically improve the hotel industry. Additionally, our company culture allows for an ongoing flow of fresh and innovative ideas between leaders of the organization and their teams, something we know the panel of judges will look highly upon."
Europe’s biggest and most respected business awards program, the European Business Awards honor companies that can demonstrate commercial success, innovation and ethical best practices. The awards program is open to large multinational companies, medium-sized firms and fast-growing small businesses, representing all sectors and all countries of the European Union, and more than 15,000 companies from 30 countries applied this year.
“Each year, we witness impressive entries from some outstanding companies with some great stories to tell. This year is no different," says Adrian Tripp, CEO of the European Business Awards. “The quality of applicants is rising, as are the number of entrants, so these organizations who have achieved Country Representative status truly are the best of the best. They will go on to fly the flag for their countries as they battle it out across Europe in the next round to scoop a Ruban d’Honneur.”
The Ruban d’Honneur winners will be honored at a gala awards presentation ceremony at Rey Juan Carlos I in Barcelona on November 22, when the overall European Business Award category winners will be revealed. For a full list of competing businesses, visit
