Added safety for conferences: Anyone holding a meeting, conference, trade fair or even a wedding at Kempinski Hotel Frankfurt can book rapid antigen tests for participants. "We have set up a mobile rapid testing station in the treatment rooms of our Country Club & Spa, where guests can be tested directly before an event or a meeting to determine whether they are infected with the coronavirus," reports Hotel Director Karina Ansos. "This significantly increases safety for all participants, and is in line with the German federal government's testing strategy."

The hotel is working alongside Berlin company Easy BioMED, which operates testing centres in facilities such as Hotel Bristol Berlin. A rapid antigen test costs EUR 39.90. Ansos intends to offer free testing to hotel employees. Up to four people can be tested at the same time in five-minute intervals at the mobile rapid testing station at Kempinski Hotel Frankfurt; testing is organised via previously assigned time slots. Test results are available after around 15 minutes. Ansos wants to offer her employees the opportunity to be tested for the coronavirus free of charge once a week. "Our testing station is the finishing touch on our ambitious hygiene concept," states Karina Ansos.

Kempinski Hotel Frankfurt is using two technologies designed to offer employees and guests protection against the coronavirus. The first is UV-C radiation for surface disinfection, and the second is an antimicrobial coating to keep disinfected areas free from bacteria and viruses. "All rooms in the Country Club & Spa, where the testing centre has been set up, have already been disinfected with UV-C radiation and the antimicrobial coating - helping to ensure this is a safe environment. If all guests at the event have tested negative, they can feel much more comfortable taking part - and safety is improved for our personnel as well."

The tests being used are listed by the Federal Institute for Drugs and Medical Devices (BfArM) and offer a very high level of precision. The swabs are taken by trained technicians, while modern equipment ensures the best possible safety and an almost contact-free process. Event organisers interested in booking rapid tests for their guests can contact Easy BioMED's Mr Wagner at the following email address: [email protected]. All agreements and payment will be handled by Easy BioMED. Information on the testing process and the tests used is available on the website www.coronaschnelltest-kudamm.de/.

Upon request, companies can book a PCR test for their event participants at Kempinski Hotel Frankfurt. Easy BioMed will work with a partner laboratory in the nearby town of Dietzenbach to test the samples. The results will be available the next business day, and the test costs EUR 99.90. PCR tests can be booked with the Express Service for same-day results, at a cost of EUR 250.
