As part of GCSTIMES ongoing commitment to responsible and sustainable business practices, we are beginning to introduce the key components of our Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) framework. The following Q&A marks the first step in presenting our ESG Strategy, Policy & Governance approach, which guides how sustainability is integrated into our long-term corporate development.

Q1: Do you have a clear ESG strategy?

GCSTIMES has established a comprehensive ESG strategy that is embedded within our medium-and-long-term business planning. From an environmental perspective, we focus on carbon reduction, energy efficiency, green materials and product innovation, as well as promoting green supply chains and circular economy practices. On the social front, we prioritise employee development, diversity and inclusion, occupational health and safety, and broader social responsibility initiatives. In governance, we emphasise business ethics, regulatory compliance, risk management and transparent information disclosure.

Q2: Do you have a sustainability policy? What are the key focus areas?

To support this strategy, we have implemented a sustainability policy structured around four key pillars: climate action, sustainable innovation, green supply chain management and social responsibility. These priorities guide our efforts to reduce emissions through clean energy transition and energy efficiency, advance eco-design and green technology, strengthen supplier transparency and responsible sourcing, and foster an inclusive, fair and safe workplace.

Q3: What sustainability initiatives are currently in place at your offices and workplaces?

Across our offices and manufacturing sites, a range of sustainability initiatives are already being implemented. These include energy efficiency upgrades, clean energy procurement, green office practices and employee engagement programmes, low-carbon logistics, packaging reduction, recycling and circularity initiatives, as well as proper waste segregation and compliant disposal with third-party monitoring.

In the coming updates, we will continue to share more details about our ESG initiatives and progress as we work toward building a more sustainable and responsible future. To learn more, please visit the Sustainability section on our official website: www.gcstimes.com/sustainability
