The release introduces new capabilities that automatically calculate blended overtime rates, support Pay-Per-Room compensation models, and help hotel operators comply with federal and state labor regulations across increasingly complex workforce environments.
As labor regulations continue to evolve, hotel operators face growing complexity in managing payroll. Employees often work multiple roles at different pay rates, pick up shifts across sister properties, or earn Pay-Per-Room compensation in housekeeping. Calculating overtime accurately across these scenarios, in accordance with the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) and state-specific labor laws, has traditionally required manual calculations, spreadsheets or payroll workarounds that increase administrative effort and the risk of costly errors.
New capabilities added to Inn-Flow's Labor Management platform include blended overtime calculations required under the FLSA for employees working multiple pay rates, support for California and Colorado overtime regulations, overtime calculations across multiple hotels operating under the same FEIN, and new Pay-Per-Room functionality that automatically calculates wages and overtime for housekeeping staff.

The enhancements also support labor budgeting by more closely aligning housekeeping compensation with occupancy levels and room revenue.
