These are the headline findings of the 2025 Australia Accommodation Barometer. A product of collaboration between Statista and Booking.com, this study provides insights into the sector’s economic development, industry sentiment, and investment plans related to digital transformation and the hospitality workforce.

Australia’s accommodation sector has reported strong past, present, and future business sentiment for the third consecutive year. In 2025, 64% of surveyed accommodations rated their past business performance as good or very good, with slightly higher satisfaction in current conditions. This optimism is reinforced by positive tourism spending projections.
