Lisa Reile has been named General Manager at Hotel Saint Cecilia

Bunkhouse Management Vice President Kevin Osterhaus announces today that Lisa Reile has been named General Manager of Hotel Saint Cecilia, Andrew Procter has been promoted to Jo’s Operations Manager, Robin Kelley joins the company as Retail Development Manager for Bunkhouse and Jason Harler joins the company as Cultural Programs Director for El Cosmico. Bunkhouse Management Vice President Kevin Osterhaus announces today that Lisa Reile has been named General Manager of Hotel Saint Cecilia, Andrew Procter has been promoted to Jo’s Operations Manager, Robin Kelley joins the company as Retail Development Manager for Bunkhouse and Jason Harler joins the company as Cultural Programs Director for El Cosmico. Reile comes to the position of General Manager of Hotel Saint Cecilia (HSC), after having served as HSC Assistant General Manager and HSC Hospitality/Events Manager. She will report to Osterhaus, and her responsibilities include management of the hotel and staff, budget administration, and directing all hotel services. She joins HSC from Whole Foods, where she spent 21 years in quality control, store development and as Whole Body coordinator. The role required her to travel extensively across the United States, Canada, England, Italy, Mexico and Central America, and later led to her interest in hotel amenities.

Troy Mathews has been named General Manager at the Lakeway Resort and Spa

Lakeway Resort and Spa has announced the hiring of Troy Mathews as General Manager. The resort, managed by Redstone Companies Hospitality, is a 173-room, award-winning property with 24,000 square feet of meeting and banquet space, suites, condominiums and a beautiful setting located on the shores of Lake Travis in the heart of the Texas Hill Country. Troy Mathews will oversee all resort operations on a day-to-day basis which includes facility management, guest services, rooms division, food and beverage operations, special events, marketing, sales and revenue management. He will also oversee all resort activities including the spa, resort pools and marina and golf activities for all guests. Troy has an extensive background in hospitality sales and operations having served in a variety of positions at Redstone Companies Hospitality. Troy has served as Club Manager of Redstone Golf Club overseeing all the day-to-day operations of the club including golf operations, food and beverage, tournaments, special events, retail, marketing and membership sales and service. He also played a major role in hosting the Shell Houston Open PGA Tour event. Troy also served as Assistant General Manger of the club and Director of Sales for Redstone Golf Management. His hotel experience includes serving as Assistant Director of Catering at The Houstonian Hotel, Club & Spa in Houston, TX in addition to working at a variety of hotel properties in Colorado. He currently serves on the Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo’s Western Heritage Committee that operates the rodeo round-up and coloring book competition for elementary schools while raising thousands of dollars annually for student scholarships

Terry Green has been appointed as General Manager at The Omni Austin Hotel Southpark

Green brings more than 23 years of hospitality industry experience to the Omni Austin Hotel Southpark. He most recently served as Director of Operations for the hotel after being promoted from the position of Area Director of Sales & Marketing based at the Omni Austin Hotel Downtown. Prior to joining Omni, Green held positions at the Marriott Southern Hills in Tulsa, Oklahoma and the Hilton Wichita Airport Hotel & Executive Conference Center in Wichita, Kansas. He earned a Bachelor’s in Business Administration from Wichita State University. Green has won numerous awards, including the 2008 Volunteer of the Year for the Austin Chamber’s Communication Council. Under his leadership, the Omni Austin Hotel Downtown’s sales team was awarded Omni’s prestigious Sales Team of the Year award

Patrick Newman has been appointed as Executive Chef at InterContinental Stephen F. Austin

Sharon Kilmartin, general manager at the InterContinental Stephen F. Austin, has announced the appointment of Chef Patrick Newman as the hotels’ new Executive Chef. Prior to his appointment, Chef Newman was the Executive Sous Chef at the 485-room InterContinental Houston at the Galleria. In addition, he’s held a variety of culinary positions including Chef de Cuisine to open the Hilton America in Houston, Texas; Executive Sous Chef at the Hotel Monteleone in the French Quarter of New Orleans, and the Executive Sous Chef at the Four Diamond Mills House Hotel in Charleston, South Carolina. Chef Newman graduated from Johnson & Wales University in 1999 with an Associate in Applied Science Degree in Culinary Arts.

Sharon Kilmartin has been appointed as General Manager at InterContinental Stephen F. Austin Hotel

Kilmartin is a results-oriented operations specialist with 21 years of experience in the hotel industry, of which 18 years have been devoted to Intercontinental Hotels & Resorts. As General Manager of the InterContinental Stephen F. Austin, Kilmartin is responsible for the 189-room city hotel, including oversight and management of the 100-plus staff, rooms, and food and beverage operations with the objective of maintaining the highest levels of guest satisfaction. As Regional Director of Operations of the InterContinental Houston Hotel, Kilmartin is responsible for creating synergies, economic opportunities and overseeing both InterContinental Hotels in Texas. Prior to her appointment at the InterContinental Stephen F. Austin, Kilmartin was the General Manager of the 402-room InterContinental San Juan Resort & Casino in Isla Verde, an AAA 4-diamond beachfront resort in Puerto Rico, with 18,000 square feet of meeting space for up to 600 people.

Brett Boreing has been appointed as Director of Sales and Marketing at The Driskill Hotel

With more than 15 years experience in the restaurant and hospitality industries, Boreing brings a unique combination of food and beverage, marketing and sales background to The Driskill. His expertise mainly has been with independent hotels and resorts across the country such as the Hotel Contessa in San Antonio, Texas. He joins The Driskill most recently having worked for the 265-room property located along the famed San Antonio Riverwalk. Boreing’s background in independent properties also includes Virginia Crossing Resort in Richmond, Va., The Northland Inn in Minneapolis, Minn., The Founders Inn in Virginia Beach, Va., and Cheyenne Mountain Resort in Colorado Springs, Colo. He began working in hospitality after a number of successful years working in the restaurant industry in Colorado and Wyoming. Boreing has received a number of accolades from past employers including director of sales and marketing of the year and sales leader of the year. He attended the University of Wyoming in Laramie where he majored in business.

Leslie Pchola has been appointed as General Manager at The Hilton Austin Hotel

In her former role as Hotel Manager at the Hilton Chicago, Pchola was instrumental in changing the operation structure of the property which led to significant GOP growth. She began her career in 1988 at the Hilton International Toronto where she was recruited as a Night Manager as part of Hilton’s Professional Development Program. She went on to hold positions in Hilton Corporate offices first in Atlanta as an Operations Analyst for the Eastern Region in 1994, and then in Beverly Hills as Manager of Operations Analyst for the Corporate Finance Department in 1997. Pchola was the Resident Manager at the Hilton Atlanta in 1998 before becoming the General Manager of the Hilton Cleveland East in 2005 where she worked with the new ownership group to ensure a smooth transition from a managed property to a franchised hotel.
