Kempinski Seychelles Resort Baie Lazare welcomes Marie-Christine Mittelberger to its team as Front Office Manager.With 7 years of experience in the hospitality industry, Marie-Christine joins us from her recent position as Assistant Front Office Manager in our sister property Grand Hotel Des Bains Kempinski, Switzerland.Her passion for guest service, creating memorable experiences and her expertise in front office operations along with her leadership skills will make her a valuable asset to our team. In her new role, Marie-Christine will be responsible for overseeing all front office operations, ensuring exceptional guest services and leading our front office team.Marie-Christine holds a Bachelor's Degree in International Hospitality Management from NHL Stenden University and a Master of Arts in International Management from IU International University of Applied Sciences.Marie-Christine is a German national and speaks fluent English and advanced Spanish in addition to her mother tongue German.

From Munich to Seychelles, the relentless dedication and engagement of Oliver Kuhn have been flawless. Back in 2000, Oliver started his successful career at Kempinski Hotel Airport Munich with a specialisation in F&B before making headway at several high-end hospitality brands, where he demonstrated his leadership. In 2016, he rejoined Kempinski as General Manager of Kempinski Hotel Khan Palace Ulaanbaatar, followed by a pre-opening stint at Grand Hotel Kempinski, Almaty Kazakhstan. Before arriving in the Seychelles, he excelled in various general manager positions in China, Russia and Egypt.
Sobczak, who joins Kempinski's Seychelles outfit from a luxury hotel in Zanzibar, will oversee all marketing strategies and sales initiatives for the resort.Sobczak, a Polish national, brings to the role a wealth of experience in the resort and leisure segments, following her appointments in the Maldives, Zambia and, most recently, Zanzibar - where she headed up the Sales and Marketing team at The Residence by Cenizaro.Sobczak, who holds a master's degree in both hospitality management and business management, speaks fluent English and Spanish, in addition to her mother tongue, and will report directly to the resort's general manager.
Jean-Marc Michel was previously the general manager at Kempinski’s Le Mirador on Lake Geneva. Jean-Marc Michel has a vast experience of working in prestigious resorts such as One & Only on l’Ile Maurice, Reid’s Palace on Madeira, Portugal, The Carenage Bay Beach & Golf Resort on l’île Canouan, the Westin on Malte and other luxurious establishments in and around Genève, Switzerland. Jean-Marc Boutilly is the new General Manager of Le Mirador Kempinski in Le Mont-Pèlerin. He will be assisted in his daily task by his wife, Charlotte Renaud Boutilly, who is appointed as Executive Assistant of Le Mirador Kempinski Mont-Pèlerin Lake Geneva.
