A graduate of École Hôtelière de Lausanne, the prestigious hotel school in Switzerland, Michael has 3 decades of leadership experience in luxury hotels in Europe, the Middle East and Asia Pacific. Having commenced his career with Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts, he held senior management positions with leading international hotel groups including Jumeirah and Kempinski, before being named as Hotel Manager and General Manager of Marco Polo hotels in Hong Kong and China, respectively. In 2015, Michael became the General Manager of Langham Place Beijing Capital Airport, one of the leading luxury hotels at China's busiest aviation hub, and most recently, he led Rosewood Hotel Group's New World Dalian Hotel as General Manager and legal representative. With such extensive global experience and a proven track record of delivering strong results, Michael is now embarking on the latest stage of his impressive career at the 562-key Chatrium Grand Bangkok, Chatrium Hospitality's flagship five-star hotel which opened its doors in late 2022 and has already become the destination-of-choice for many global travellers.
