Kimberly McCombie has been appointed as Assistant Director of Food and Beverage at Omni Bedford Springs Resort

With a proven track record of increasing yearly sales, Kimberly McCombie has been promoted to assistant director of food and beverage at Omni Bedford Springs Resort. McCombie’s responsibilities will expand to include assisting Chef Noto in managing all culinary operations and overseeing the operation of six restaurants and food outlets, as well as room service, banqueting and special events.

David Noto has been appointed as Director of Food and Beverage at Omni Bedford Springs Resort

After originally joining the resort as executive chef in 2010 and proving to be both imaginative and skillful in his creative culinary mastery, Chef David Noto has been promoted to director of food and beverage. Bringing nearly two decades of high-end restaurant experience to the table, Chef Noto manages dining operations and procurement for six restaurants and food outlets at Omni Bedford Springs Resort, in addition to supervising room service, banqueting and special events. Prior to his time at the resort, Chef Noto spent seven years as executive chef of AAA Four Diamond-rated Hilton Dallas Lincoln Center.

John Hess has been appointed as Director of Sales and Marketing at Omni Bedford Springs Resort

A talented sales professional with experience in leading a multitude of resorts along the east coast, John Hess joins Omni Bedford Springs Resort as director of sales and marketing. In this role, he’s tasked with overseeing the resort sales team and developing innovative strategies to increase revenues and drive business, with a focus on group clientele. Hess arrived from nearby Seven Springs Mountain Resort, where he was the director of sales for the past five years. In years prior, he held key sales management positions at properties in the mid-Atlantic, including director of sales at Snowshoe Mountain Ski Resort in Snowshoe, W.Va.; general manager/director of sales at Mariners Landing Resort and Conference Center in Huddleston, Va.; and director of sales at Wintergreen Resort in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia.

David Noto has been appointed as Executive Chef at The Omni Bedford Springs Resort & Spa

Chef Noto joins the Omni Bedford Springs Resort & Spa following seven years as Executive Chef of the AAA Four Diamond-rated Hilton Dallas Lincoln Center. Previously, he held senior positions at an array of highly rated properties including Executive Chef of the Petroleum Club in Fort Worth, Texas (1999-2003); Executive Sous Chef of The Fairmont in San Francisco (1997-1999); Banquet Chef at The Worthington Hotel in Fort Worth (1995-1997); and Garde Manger Chef at The Homestead in Hot Springs, Virginia (1994-1995). Noto got his start at The Worthington in 1991. An engaging professional, Noto was a culinary instructor at the Art Institute of Dallas from 2006-2010, teaching courses covering American Regional Cuisine with Latin Influences, Classical Cuisine and food purchasing. He graduated from the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, New York, with an AA Degree in Culinary Arts in 1991.

Kurt Titus has been appointed as Senior Sales Manager at The Omni Bedford Springs Resort & Spa

Titus joins the Omni Bedford Springs Resort from the Atlantis on Paradise Island in the Bahamas, where he spent the past two years as Director of National Accounts. Over the previous decade he led sales efforts in regions across the country. Positions Titus has held include: Director of National Accounts for Boca Raton Resort & Club in Florida; Director of Group Sales and other positions for Intercontinental Hotels Group in Los Angeles, Miami and New York; and Global Sales Manager at the national sales office of Dolce International in Montvale, New Jersey. Titus has worked with several other hotel groups and resorts including Hyatt, Best Western and Hawks Cay Resort and Marina. He got his start as an Account Manager for AT&T/US West Communications in 1984. Titus will oversee sales and marketing efforts for two of the luxury resort’s key markets – Washington D.C. and Virginia, and will be based at the Omni Shoreham Hotel in the nation’s capital.

Linda Lynge has been appointed as Spa Director at Omni Bedford Springs Resort & Spa

Lynge arrives in Bedford, Pennsylvania from Colorado, where she spent a year as the Spa Director of Vail Resorts RockResorts Spa at The Lodge at Vail. Her experience in the industry runs deep. In 1990, she designed her first athletic club & spa as General Manager of the University Athletic Club in Littleton, Colorado. From there, she moved onto Las Vegas, first joining Caesars Palace for the opening of their spa as the Spa Desk Supervisor before becoming Spa Manager of Mandalay Bay and then Assistant Start-Up Manager for the opening of the Paris Spa by Mandara.

Tim Bugas has been appointed as Director of Sales and Marketing at Omni Bedford Springs Resort & Spa

Bugas will oversee sales, marketing, convention services and revenue management for the historic luxury resort and spa in the Allegheny Mountain region of south-central Pennsylvania.Bugas arrives in Bedford Springs from the Primland Resort in Meadows of Dan, Virginia, where he was opening Director of Sales and Marketing. Previously, Bugas spent seven years at the Hershey Entertainment and Resort Company, serving as Managing Director of Resort Sales for four years before being promoted to Vice President of Sales in 2004. Prior to joining Hershey, Bugas worked as Director of Sales at The Greenbrier in White Sulphur Springs, West Virginia. He also served as Director of Sales at The Homestead in Hot Springs, Virginia, early in his career. Bugas earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from West Virginia University.

Adrian Gonzalez has been appointed as Director of Operations at The Omni Bedford Springs Resort & Spa

Gonzalez joined the Omni Bedford Springs Resort & Spa following three years in management at Destination Hotels & Resorts. Most recently he was Hotel Operations Consultant at Suncadia Resort in Cle Elum, Washington, and before that he was Hotel Manager and Director of Food & Beverage at Sunriver Resort in Sunriver, Oregon. Previously, Gonzalez enjoyed a run with Starwood Hotels, including two years as Director of Food & Beverage for the Westin Mission Hills Resort & Spa in Rancho Mirage, California, and the remainder as F&B Director at properties throughout Mexico including Westin Regina Resort in Puerto Vallarta; Sheraton Acapulco Resort; Sheraton Ixtapa Resort; and Sheraton Cancun & Towers. Gonzalez also spent 10 years with Hilton Hotels, most notably as Director of Food & Beverage at Hilton Americas-Houston, as well as at Hilton in the WDW Resort in Orlando, Florida, and Hilton Newark Airport. He got his start in hospitality at Sheraton Maria Isabel Hotel & Towers in Mexico City in 1982. A native of Mexico, Gonzalez earned a Bachelor’s Degree of Science in Hotel and Restaurant Administration from Tourism Polytechnic University in Mexico City. He is quite passionate about wine and has been certified as a Wine Specialist by the Society of Wine Educators.

Erica Held has been appointed as Senior Sales Manager at Omni Bedford Springs Resort & Spa

Held will oversee convention group sales for New Jersey, New York, as well as the Eastern half of Pennsylvania with a focus on the Harrisburg and Philadelphia markets. Bringing a depth of hospitality to her new position, Held joined the Omni Bedford Springs Resort & Spa from the Westin Hotel in Pittsburgh, where she spent the past three years as a Sales Manager for the Association, Government and Sports markets. Held also had a similar role at the Hyatt Regency Pittsburgh. A native of Pittsburgh, Held graduated from West Virginia University in 2000 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Journalism.
