Lisa Kaplan has been appointed as Director of Sales at Associated Luxury Hotels International (ALHI)

Associated Luxury Hotels International (ALHI) has expanded its Global Sales team in the Northeast U.S. region and Midwest U.S. region. Lisa Kaplan has joined as Director of Sales in ALHIs Boston Global Sales office, and Michelle Lauer has joined as Director of Sales in ALHIs Chicago Global Sales office. In their new positions they are responsible for assisting meeting professionals, association executives, incentive specialists, business executives and convention specialists in their respective regions with ALHI Global Sales Organization (GSO) services and professional sales support for its distinguished portfolio of more than 250 luxury-level Meeting & Incentive focused hotels and resorts around the world, plus distinctive A lliance members to assist planners. The announcement of the appointments was made by ALHI President Jim Schultenover.

Nadine Thompson has been appointed as Area Director of Sales at Courtyard by Marriott Boston Marlborough and DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Boston – Westborough

Waterton, a U.S. real estate investor and operator, today announced it has appointed Nadine Thompson as area director of sales for two hotels in west suburban Boston: Courtyard by Marriott Boston Marlborough, a 202-key hotel in Marlborough; and DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Boston – Westborough, a 223-key hotel in Westborough.

DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Boston North Shore has announced the appointment of Alon Ben-Gurion as general manager. Drawing on more than three decades of hotel experience, including success at addresses in New York, Washington, D.C. and Chicago, Ben-Gurion is responsible for all operations of the 363-room Salem, Mass. hotel.

Alexander Valencia has been appointed as Director of Food & Beverage at The Langham, Boston

Alex brings to The Langham 14 years of international and domestic hospitality experience. Prior to joining The Langham, Alex was most recently the Assistant Food & Beverage Director at the Rosewood Crescent in Dallas, TX, where he was responsible for directing food & beverage operations for 10 individual outlets, and over 30,000 square feet of meeting space in a 220-room luxury hotel.

Paul Sauceda has been appointed as Director of Sales and Marketing at The Godfrey Hotel, Boston

With extensive New England hotel experience, Sauceda brings a keen dedication to warm hospitality and a passion for contributing to the revitalization of the Downtown Crossing neighborhood in which the Godfrey, Boston is being established. Sauceda's deep-rooted connection with Boston stems from his wide breadth of experience working in New England hospitality. In his work as the director of sales and marketing of award-winning Ames Hotel in Boston, Sauceda developed out-of-the-box fashion- and music-driven partnerships to best align with the chic property. Working in the Boston market for more than 10 years at properties for the Starwood and Kimpton brands, Sauceda successfully represented Nine Zero, Hotel Marlow and The Onyx hotels as regional sales manager. Sauceda's notable work with Nine Zero garnered him the Kimpton Hotels, Boston's 2005 Sales Manager of the Year award, in addition to his recognition for all three properties in multiple Sales Manager of the Quarter awards.
