Chutima Kaewta-Fortescue has been appointed as General Manager at U Nimman Chiang Mai and Eastin Tan Hotel Chiang Mai

Absolute Hotel Services' Senior Vice President - Operations Asia, Mr. Frank Clovyn, is pleased to announce the appointment of Mrs. Chutima Kaewta-Fortescue as General Manager at U Nimman Chiang Mai and Eastin Tan Hotel Chiang Mai in Thailand.With a wealth of experience in the hospitality industry, gained in a variety of roles over more than 30 years, Chutima joined Absolute Hotel Services Group in 2010 in the capacity of General Manager at U Inchantree Kanchanaburi, Eastin Hotel Makkasan Bangkok and U Sukhumvit Bangkok. All the properties she managed have seen great improvement in terms o f service and financial results.Following a brief sabbatical, during which time she was managing her own consultancy company assisting non-branded properties with their operations, Chutima returned to Absolute Hotel Services Group in 2019 to take on the role of Quality Assurance Director before taking on her new General Managers position in Chiang Mai.

Cherry, as she is known to friends, joined Absolute Hotel Services in April 2015 as the Public Relations Manager at the U Sathorn Bangkok, the group's flagship 5-star hotel. In 2017 she was promoted to Executive Assistant Manager of U Sathorn Bangkok. Cherry has extensive experience working in hotel management for organisations such as Centara Hotels & Resorts, The Peninsula Bangkok and The Siam Luxury Suites and Villas.

Mr. Chatterjee has over 25 years of international hospitality experience ranging from rooms to food and beverage operations with International hotel chains. Before joining the Le Meridien, Chiang Mai Mr. Chatterjee held several positions at multiple hotels under Marriott International spanning major cities in Asia and Middle East including the JW Marriott, Mumbai, Courtyard by Marriott, Chennai, Goa Marriott Resort & Spa, JW Marriott, Bangalore and the Dubai Marriott Harbour Hotel & Suites. Prior to moving to his new home at the Le Méridien, Chiang Mai, Mr. Chatterjee spent 3 years in Bangkok as the General Manager of Bangkok Marriott Hotel Sukhumvit and Marriott Executive Apartments Sukhumvit.

Chef Thiti will oversee all culinary operations at the hotel including its award-winning signature Palette Restaurant.Chef Thiti has extensive international experience from a career spanning more than 30 years. He worked his way up from a cook to Executive Chef and has assumed Corporate Executive Chef roles in Canada, Thailand, Singapore and Malaysia. Chef Thiti combines his broad range of culinary styles to create his own global hybrid form of cuisine where he combines two or more ingredients with different cooking techniques, both modern as well as traditional, to create unique flavors and textures. Prior to joining 137 Pillars House, he was F&B Director at the Baan Wanglang Riverside in Bangkok where he oversaw the operations of three new outlets.

Andrew Abram has been appointed as General Manager at Mandarin Oriental Dhara Dhevi

Andrew Abram will succeed Greg Liddell as General Manager of Mandarin Oriental Dhara Dhevi, Chiang Mai with effect from 24 August, 2012. Mr Abram began his career with Mandarin Oriental in 2003 as Resident Manager of The Excelsior, Hong Kong, before being appointed General Manager of Mandarin Oriental, Jakarta in 2004. Andrew has overseen the closure and total renovation of this hotel, prior to its successful re-launch in 2009.

Titiya Chooto has been appointed as General Manager at Four Seasons Resort Chiang Mai

Born and raised in Thailand, Ms. Chooto brings more than 25 years of extensive international hotel experience to this new posting, and will be responsible for Four Seasons Tented Camp, Golden Triangle in addition to Four Seasons Resort Chiang Mai. She returns to Chiang Mai, where she previously held the position of Resort Manager, after a highly successful stint at Four Seasons Hotel Bangkok as Hotel Manager. Ms Chooto is the only female general manager with Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts in the Asia Pacific region, and is the first Thai national to hold such a position within the company.
