Nelson Riffard has been appointed as Director of Revenue Management at Fairmont Dubai

Nelson joins Fairmont Dubai from his most recent role as Cluster Revenue Manager at the IHG Festival City in Dubai, a position he held since 2015. Whilst in this role, Nelson has had a number of significant achievements, including obtaining the highest Revenue Generation Index (RGI) since the opening of the cluster properties. Prior to this role, he held the Cluster Revenue Manager's position overseeing 7 AccorHotels' properties in Dubai and in 2012 worked as well for AccorHotels' regional office in Marseille, France.

Ahmad Jaber has been appointed as Director of Digital Marketing at The H Dubai

Jaber joined The H Dubai from Accor Hotels where he held the position of digital marketing manager at Raffles Dubai. The Jordanian national started his hospitality career in Abu Dhabi in 2015 as the e-commerce manager of Beach Rotana Abu Dhabi. In 2016, he moved to Dubai to join Raffles Dubai. In his new role, Jaber will oversee all marketing, PR and digital communications for The H Hotel Dubai and assist the corporate director of marketing in developing the overall digital strategy for the group.

Amr attwa has been appointed as Director of Finance at The H Dubai

Attwa brings more than 13 years to his new role and got his start in hospitality with Marriott International in 2005. In his latest job, Attwa served as the assistant director of finance at Lapita Autograph Collection - Dubai Parks Hotel before moving on to H Hotels & Resorts. Attwa's previous finance position were held at JW Marriott Marquis - Dubai, Marriott Executive apartments - Ethiopia and giving business support to other properties within the group for the past 13 years.

Nemanja Acimovic has been appointed as Director of Operations, United Arab Emirates at Millennium Hotels and Resorts

With over 25 years of experience in hospitality, Nemanja Acimovic has worked for many international hotel chains such as Starwood and Hilton in the gulf region and Australia. His journey with Millennium Hotels and Resorts started in 2016 when he joined Millennium Corniche Abu Dhabi as general manager and was then transferred to Millennium Plaza Dubai as general manager later. Acimovic will be responsible for the managing the operations of the group in the United Arab Emirates.

Sathis Aravinda has been appointed as Director of Revenue Middle East and Africa. at Millennium Hotels and Resorts, Middle East and Africa

Joining as director of revenue for Middle East and Africa, Aravinda brings with him 12 years of experience working with international companies such as Movenpick, Meydan, Galadari and Rotana in the UAE and Sri Lanka. In his role, Aravinda will focus on revenue strategies, driving system contribution, driving revenue yield and optimisation for our hotels and brands.

Mustafa Ainen has been appointed as Director of Operations Middle East markets at Millennium Hotels and Resorts

Reporting to the chief operating officer Kevork Deldelian, Mustafa Ainen joins from Rotana Hotels, where he held the role of cluster general manager KSA for Centro Shaheen Jeddah and Centro Waha Riyadh. He brings with him 25 years of experience in hospitality in which he has worked for many international hotel chains such as IHG, Hilton and Rotana in the gulf region and United Kingdom. He will be responsible for managing all operations across the Middle East.

Francesco Pompilio has been appointed as Rooms Division Manager at The Retreat Palm Dubai MGallery

Pompilio has 16 years of hospitality experience in key tourist destinations having spent most of his years in the industry with InterContinental Hotel Group properties, including Holiday Inn Regent's Park London and Crowne Plaza Milan Linate. He started his career in the UAE in 2010, working as front office manager at Intercontinental Abu Dhabi and later moved to Holiday Inn Abu Dhabi as rooms division manager. Prior to joining The Retreat Palm Dubai MGallery, he was the acting executive assistant manager in charge of operations at dusitD2 kenz hotel in Dubai.
