The Langham Destined for Jinan, China’s City of Springs: Group to Bring Luxury Hotel to Shandong Capital’s Century-Old Honglou Neighbourhood

Langham Hospitality Group (LHG) has been engaged by Jinan Licheng District Quanfuhe Investment Development Co. Ltd. to manage a luxury hotel to be built in Jinan, the capital of China’s Shandong Province. The Langham, Jinan will be located in the budding central business district (CBD) of Century-Old Honglou, a neighbourhood in Licheng District known for historical buildings dating back to the early 1900s. They include the Hongjialou Cathedral, the Shandong Provincial Library, and the Shandong University campus.

The Steigenberger Jinan Fengming Welcomes Guests

A premiere for Steigenberger: Last Saturday, 29 May 2021, Deutsche Hospitality and its shareholder Huazhu opened the first hotel of the upscale brand Steigenberger Hotels & Resorts in China. The Steigenberger Jinan Fengming is located in the city of Jinan, the capital of Shandong Province in the east of the country, with a population of around seven million. The hotel has 258 rooms, two restaurants, a lobby lounge, and a swimming pool.

The soon-to-be-opened new top luxury hotel in Shandong province, Kempinski Hotel Jinan, is now headed by General Manager Christian Wiendieck, who has just been appointed to his new position. A seasoned hotelier, he can look back on an outstanding career of more than 20 years within the Kempinski brand, joining the Jinan pre-opening team from his last assignment as general manager at Kempinski Hotel Fuzhou.

In his leisure time, Florian likes to spend his spare time on weekends and holidays with his wife/friends/family and is a passionate golfer, like tennis and international travel.
