Palms Casino Resort Las Vegas Now Open

Palms Casino Resort Las Vegas has made its triumphant return and has officially re-opened the doors to one of Las Vegas' most iconic casino resort destinations. Wednesday's opening celebration began with a traditional Tribal ceremony led by the San Manuel Gaming and Hospitality Authority (SMGHA) Board and Palms General Manager Cynthia Kiser Murphey. The "Celebration of Community" continued throughout the day and evening with cocktails poolside and a fireworks extravaganza. Palms officially ushered in a new era at 9:00 p.m. PST, after the first dice were rolled. The property is now taking reservations for stays at www.palms.com.

Cliff Atkinson has been named President at Fontainebleau Las Vegas

Celebrated hospitality leader Cliff Atkinson has been appointed President of Fontainebleau Las Vegas, a vertically-integrated luxury hotel, gaming, entertainment, and meeting destination conceived by Fontainebleau Development. Atkinson has already assumed leadership of Fontainebleau Las Vegas as it continues to build its in-house team, and he will continue to execute the strategy laid out by Fontainebleau Development as the resort is readied for its global debut on the Las Vegas Strip in the fourth quarter of 2023.

Chris Cosenza has been promoted to Senior Vice President of Strategy & Business Development at JC Hospitality LLC in Las Vegas

In this new role as Senior Vice President of Strategy & Business Development, Chris Cosenza will work alongside COO, Gary Scott, in developing strategic opportunities for JC Hospitality LLC and be the operational focal point for the company's business development initiatives. Mr. Cosenza previously served as the company's Vice President of Strategic Planning & Analysis, where his core responsibility was the oversight of third-party tenants and operators at Virgin Hotels Las Vegas from concept through development, construction and into day-to-day operations. Before joining the team at JC Hospitality, Mr. Cosenza spent the bulk of his career at Ameristar Casinos. In this time, he held corporate leadership positions in entertainment, nightlife, player development, guest experience and strategic development and lead the company's i-Gaming initiative prior to Ameristar's acquisition by Pinnacle Entertainment. While at Ameristar, Mr. Cosenza was the project director for the company's strategic marketing partnership with MGM Resorts International, successfully integrating each company's rewards programs across 16 total properties nationwide. Cosenza earned his Bachelor of Science in finance and political science from Boston College and a Master of Business Administration with concentrations in finance and marketing from Northeastern University.

Chad Brown has been promoted to Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) at JC Hospitality LLC in Las Vegas

Chad Brown previously served as the Vice President of Marketing for JC Hospitality LLC, leading the integrated resort marketing team and internal agency for Virgin Hotels Las Vegas. In his new role as Chief Marketing Officer, Mr. Brown continuesthese responsibilities and oversees brand growth and marketing penetration for JC Hospitality LLC. He also leads the development of new brands, marketing and promotional strategy for the company's growing portfolio of investment, development and management initiatives. Mr. Brown has over two decades of hospitality marketing experience, including holding multiple marketing executive positions within MGM Resorts International prior to joining JC Hospitality LLC. He is a proud veteran of the United States Army and earned his Bachelor of Science in marketing at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas and Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Phoenix. Brown is an executive committee member of the Las Vegas Bowl and serves as a mentor in the UNLV executive mentorship program.

Michelle Wilkos brings more than 20 years of industry experience to the award-winning spa at Waldorf Astoria Las Vegas. As the property's new Spa Director, Wilkos will be responsible for overseeing and creating the overall programming while continuing to improve the guest experience and growing the spa's business.
