The Hoxton puts down roots on Shepherd’s Bush Green

London, we're back! Seeing out 2022 with a bang, The Hoxton will open in Shepherd's Bush this December: its fourth hotel in its hometown (and twelfth in The Hoxton series) and an exciting addition that puts the brand in all corners of the capital, with its design-driven, community-focused hotels now in east, south, central and west London. Located on the north end on Shepherd's Bush green, in the beating heart of the eclectic and diverse neighbourhood, the hotel will have 237 playfully-designed bedrooms, Thai-Americana restaurant Chet's serving up fiery flavours, natural wines and spicy coriander martinis, a large open lobby with vintage seating and cosy corners, a central wraparound bar and terrace where guests can enjoy cocktails and coffees, a standalone retail store that will serve the community, and The Apartment meeting and events space.

Ninnja Bayram has been promoted to Hotel Manager at The Berkeley

Bayram joined the hotel in 2019 as Director of Rooms and quickly established herself as a talented and dedicated member of the team. Bayram oversaw the development of new room designs and the growth of The Berkeley's Bamford Wellness Spa, and in her new role will embrace all aspects of the day-to-day running of the hotel including overseeing the recently opened Cedric Grolet at The Berkeley patisserie. Beginning her hospitality career over ten years ago as a receptionist at The InterContinental Hotels Group on Park Lane. Bayram then worked at some of the most distinguished hotels in London including The Dorchester where she spent six year and half years rising to the position of Front of House Manager.

Ingrid Moreni has been appointed as Hotel Manager at Montcalm East, Shoreditch London

Born in Italy, Ingrid started her career at VALTUR hotels in their 4 and 5 star resorts across Mauritius, Italy, Egypt and the Maldives. She moved to London in 2011 and joined the team at St Ermin's Hotel as Duty Manager before taking a role at Kensington Close Hotel. She also spent 4 years at five star Mandrake Hotel. In addition, Ingrid is a lecturer at the Pandora Academy, a training hub for hospitality and event management.

Marriott International Signs Agreement With Gulf Islamic Investments to Debut The First Standalone Autograph Collection Residences

Marriott International, Inc. today announced it has signed an agreement with Gulf Islamic Investments (GII) to introduce The Lucan, Autograph Collection Residences in London, the first standalone Autograph Collection Residences globally. Zac Pearse has been appointed as General Manager at Bankside Hotel

Zac Pearse has joined Cycas as General Manager of the design-led Bankside Hotel, a 161-room five-star property which forms part of Marriott International's Autograph Collection and which Cycas took over the management of in June. Zac's 19 years of hospitality expertise includes managing Malmaison's flagship property - Charterhouse Square, London - and, most recently, working as Area Manager for Criterion Hospitality where he was responsible for developing four new hotel sites across London while overseeing the group's 25 commercial and apartment buildings.
