The Biltmore Los Angeles, part of Millennium Hotels & Resorts, is pleased to announce the appointment of Tiffany Zimmer-Penton as General Manager of the property. Joining the beaux-arts institution as it celebrates its 100-year anniversary in 2023, Tiffany is responsible for all operations of the 683-room property, including sales and marketing, guest rooms, food and beverage, meetings and events facilities, and will work closely with the team to ensure memorable visits and stays for local residents and hotel guests.

Yoav Gery has been appointed as Chief Development Officer at Viceroy Hotels & Resorts

The brand was acquired by an investor group led by Principals of Highgate earlier this year. As a hospitality leader for nearly 25 years, Viceroy has strategically burgeoned from its debut Santa Monica location into a portfolio of iconic hotels and resorts in global destinations such as St. Lucia, Chicago, Los Cabos and Snowmass. Viceroy made its first foray into Europe with the opening of Viceroy Kopaonik Serbia in 2021, and is thrilled to be adding to its international footprint with the opening of Viceroy at Ombria Algarve in Portugal this fall and Viceroy Bocas Del Toro Panama in 2026.

Christophe Rull has been appointed as Executive Pastry Chef at Hotel Bel-Air

Denise Flanders, General Manager of Hotel Bel-Air, has appointed Christophe Rull as executive pastry chef of Hotel Bel-Air. In this role, Rull is responsible for overseeing the pastry offerings at the iconic hotel, including in the Restaurant at Hotel Bel-Air, the popular Bar & Lounge, in-room dining, and banquets and events. Christophe is a French-born pastry chef with more than 20 years of experience. His career took off in a Michelin Star restaurant when he was only 16 and he has since worked in the most prestigious international establishments, participated in international competitions, and has been a part of Netflix's Bake Squad. In 2021, Christophe won "U.S. Chocolate Master" at the World Chocolate Masters' American semifinals in Chicago at age 36. Then in the fall of 2022, he competed at the 2021-22 World Chocolate Masters event in Paris, placing fifth overall.
