Following a multimillion-dollar revitalization project, Manchester's iconic venue for business travelers, presidential candidates, weddings, conventions and business events opens today as DoubleTree by Hilton Manchester Downtown. The DoubleTree by Hilton Manchester Downtown team, Manchester Mayor Joyce Craig and representatives from the Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce took part in a ceremony today to unveil the new DoubleTree by Hilton sign and introduce the hotel to the community.

Sharon Nista has been named the new Director of Sales at the Hilton Garden Inn Manchester. In this role, Nista will lead room and catering sales efforts and manage the long term revenue success of the Hotel. Nista previously held the position of Hotel Director of Sales at the Holiday Inn Express & Suites in Merrimack that is also owned by Roedel Companies. During her tenure, she was responsible for revenue production and strategic planning. Nista also controlled sales, marketed guest services and employee development.

Linda Grugnale has been appointed as General Manager at La Quinta Inn & Suites

RGH Hospitality, the hotel management subsidiary of Roedel Companies, recently named Linda Grugnale as General Manager and Steven Morabito as Hotel Director of Sales at La Quinta Inn & Suites in Manchester. Grugnale is responsible for providing leadership and direction to develop hotel plans and processes while also implementing and maintaining hotel brand requirements. Grugnale brings extensive experience from Marriott International and Starwood Sheraton Brand Hotels to her role at La Quinta Inn & Suites. In her most recent position as Area Account Executive for Marriott International Sales Force One New England North, she oversaw 14 Marriott properties managing group sales, extended stay and worldwide placement for assigned accounts.

Edwards brings over a decade of experience in the hotel industry to her position as General Manager. Most recently, she held the Assistant General Manager position at the 125 room Hilton Garden Inn Downtown Manchester. The award winning hotel is located in the city’s historic Millyard district and overlooks the baseball stadium of the minor league New Hampshire Fisher Cats.
