Alex Willats has been appointed as General Manager at Dusit Thani Manila

Willats, a Hotel Management honors graduate, joined Dusit Thani Bangkok as resident manager before being promoted to general manager of the property. During his time as general manager he spearheaded oversaw significant improvement works to the facilities and infrastructure of the hotel. As a result, the hotel has won numerous honors and awards in the industry for both its accommodation and restaurant services.

Simon Soh has been appointed as General Manager at Centara Hotel Manila

Simon Soh, a Singaporean national has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the University of Leicester, United Kingdom. He has a versatile background of working experience in the hotel industry, including working as General Manager of the Van Chai Resort, Vietnam and Angkorland Hotel, Siem Reap, Cambodia. Before that he held various human resources and training roles with Hard Rock Hotel Bali, Indonesia, Banyan Tree Resort, Seychelles and Le Meridian Hotel, Singapore.

Sonja Vodusek has been appointed as General Manager at The Peninsula Manila

Ms. Sonja Vodusek joined HSH in 2010 as Hotel Manager of The Peninsula New York. She has been promoted to be General Manager of The Peninsula Manila, a role which she will assume from April 2011, taking over from Mr. Jonathan Crook. An Australian native, Ms. Vodusek received a Diploma in Hotel Management from Blue Mountains International Hotel Management School and a Diploma in Business Management from the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology.

Goran Aleksandrovski has been appointed as General Manager at Sofitel Philippine Plaza Manila

Former General Manager of Sofitel Brisbane Central, Mr. Goran Aleksandrovski (who recently changed his name to Goran Aleks) has assumed the position of General Manager of Sofitel Philippine Plaza Manila, the 609-room iconic hotel billed as a resort-sanctuary in the city. Having spent more than 15 years in the hospitality industry, German-born Aleks had held significant postings in Europe and Asia Pacific. His association with the Accor group began in 1994 and throughout his career he has occupied various senior positions in Munich, Koblenz and Berlin in Germany. He spent one year as the General Manager of Sofitel Project in Paris and subsequently was tasked to position the Sofitel brand in Australia. Aleks managed for four years the Sofitel Gold Coast and most recently the Sofitel Brisbane Central before he moved to the Philippines.

Jonathan Crook has been appointed as General Manager at The Peninsula Manila

In 2000, Mr. Crook joined The Peninsula New York as Assistant Food and Beverage Manager and a year later, he was transferred to The Peninsula Chicago as Assistant Food and Beverage Director. He was promoted to Director of Food and Beverage in 2003. In 2005, he relocated to Asia, where he first took up the role of Resident Manager at The Peninsula Beijing, before moving onto The Peninsula Tokyo in February 2008 as Hotel Manager, tasked with the hotel's overall management. Mr. Jonathan Crook takes over from Mr. Vlad Reyes as General Manager of The Peninsula Manila.
