Stéphane Gras has been appointed as General Manager at Four Seasons Hotel Megève and Les Chalets du Mont d'Arbois, Megève, A Four Seasons Hotel

Born in Saint-Etienne, France, Stéphane Gras has a Bachelor's degree in International Hotel Management from the Ecole Hôtelière de Lausanne, Switzerland. Stéphane began his career at the Waldorf Astoria in New York before joining Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts in 1999 as Assistant Room Service Manager at Four Seasons Hotel New York.

Les Chalets du Mont d’Arbois, Megève, A Four Seasons Hotel opening in French Alps this month

By way of background, It was originally the historic 5-star hotel of the Rothschild family. Now, the three Chalets (each named after Benjamin and Ariane de Rothschild's first three daughters) will offer three unique experiences - Chalet Eve has kept its traditional style, Chalet Noémie features classic luxury décor and refined elegance and Chalet Alice offers a bohemian chic atmosphere - Alice and Noémie can be completely privatised. Chalet Ève, offering 25 rooms and suites, is also home to the Prima restaurant which recently earned a Michelin star thanks to its Chef Nicolas Hensinger, and the Spa by Bamford for all the Chalets, fully renovated in 2019 and equipped with an indoor-outdoor pool overlooking stunning mountainscapes.

After meticulous renovations and more than EUR 10 million of investment, Les Chalets du Mont d'Arbois, Megève, A Four Seasons Hotel, the historic 5-star hotel of the Edmond de Rothschild family, will open their doors on December 13, 2019 as a Four Seasons experience. Beautifully complementing the existing Four Seasons Hotel Megève, which opened in December 2017, this new addition will extend the exceptional luxury offerings in Megève, marked by Four Seasons quality and service. These sister properties are offered in partnership with Edmond de Rothschild Heritage.

Francois Arrighi has been appointed as General Manager at Four Seasons Hotel Megève

Francois Arrighi has been named General Manager of the new Four Seasons Hotel Megève. Opening in time for the 2017/18 ski season, the all-new hotel will be the company’s third in France, and its fifth mountain destination. Arrighi arrives in Megève from Four Seasons Hotel George V, Paris, where as Hotel Manager he was responsible for day-to-day operations and was also closely involved in the wildly successful launch of two new Michelin-starred restaurants. Before joining Four Seasons, he spent several years in the French Alpine ski resort of Courchevel following positions in Paris, Geneva and the French Riviera.
