Hospitality veteran Macarena Sepulveda has been appointed Director of Event Planning and Meeting Experience at The Confidante Miami Beach, a playful oceanfront oasis located in Miami Beach's mid-beach neighborhood, effective immediately. In her new role, Sepulveda is responsible for managing the planning and execution of banquet events at The Confidante, leveraging the property's vibrant one-of-a-kind spaces to offer the perfect backdrop for meetings, weddings and special occasions. Sepulveda also oversees event services, including food and beverage, stewarding and operations to ensure a seamless and memorable occasion every time. The following year, in 2014, Sepulveda was awarded by the Greater Miami and the Beaches Hotel Association as the "Catering Manager of the Year" while also being named "Event Management Rising Star" by the Marriott South Florida Business Council. Additionally, in 2014, Sepulveda was the recipient of the Marriott's Global Discipline Event Leadership GEM award for the Americas. With her extensive experience in a leadership role, Sepulveda is poised to proactively drive hotel growth within the Hyatt brand. Having earned a bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management from Instituto Nacional de Capacitacion Profesional, a member of The Leading Hotel Schools of the World, she brings a detail-oriented and cutting-edge approach to the team.

Kimpton Hotel Palomar South Beach is set to welcome its first guests in late 2019. The chic property will be located in the heart of South Beach, a p opular international and local destination in Miami Beach. The property will be the boutique hotel company's fifth in the Sunshine State, complementing its existing hotels in Miami Beach, Downtown Miami and Vero Beach. Altamarea Group, the renowned New York restaurant Hospitality Group, will run the hotel's food and beverage program, and bring its highly popular Osteria Morini brand from Soho to the Kimpton Palomar.

He spent 13 years with Starwood Hotels & Resorts, where he last held the role of Director of Sales and Marketing for the Sheraton Burlington Hotel leading the Group, Transient, Catering and Event Management teams.

Jacqueline Lejart joins Cadillac Hotel & Beach Club with an extensive background in hotel operations, being a visionary leader for several of top international hotels for the past 25 years. Her responsibilities will focus on preserving excellence in customer service by maintaining the unique and upscale environment that guests have grown familiar with at the property. Mrs. Lejart moved to Miami Beach, Florida in 2002 where she held the position of front office manager for Eden Roc, A Renaissance Resort and Spa. During her tenures at several Miami Beach properties, she's been recognized as "Manager of the Quarter" four times and "Manager of the Year" twice.

Romei joins Faena Hotel Miami Beach with over twenty-five years of concierge experience, most recently serving as the Chef Concierge of The Waldorf Astoria and Waldorf Towers in New York City. He has also served as the Chef Concierge for Boca Raton Resort & Club, A Waldorf Astoria Resort. Romei is the former General Secretary of the prestigious international organization Les Clefs D'Or and served on their International Executive Committee for 10 years. Romei has a BA from Manhattanville College and a MA in International Studies from New York University. Following a $110 million transformation of the iconic Park Central hotel, Celino South Beach will debut as a 132-guestroom oceanfront haven and will introduce a reinterpretation of 1940s Miami Beach glamour.
