Marriott International Signs Agreement With RIMAP Hospitality To Bring Its Playful Moxy Brand To Montreal

Marriott International today announced it has signed an agreement with RIMAP Hospitality to debut the company's playful and spirited Moxy Hotels brand to Montreal. Situated in downtown Montreal, the hotel will sit ideally north of Griffintown, an area that is home to The Bell Centre, Place Bonnaventure, the Montreal train station and the soon-to-be new National Bank headquarters. Construction on the Moxy Montreal Downtown is expected to begin this summer 2021, with the opening expected in 2024.

Julie Brisebois has been appointed as General Manager at Alt Hotel Montreal

Julie Brisebois has stepped into the role of general manager at Alt Hotel Montreal. She began her career at Le Germain Hotel Montreal before taking over as GM of Alt Hotel Quartier DIX30 in Brossard, Que. and then as GM of Alt Hotel Montreal when the hotel opened its doors in 2014. In 2016, Ms Brisebois set out to Ottawa in order to manage the opening of the brand new Alt Hotel, ensuring the general management was in good hands.

Joseph Klein has been appointed as General Manager at Montréal Marriott Chateau Champlain

Montreal’s landmark hotel, Marriott Chateau Champlain proudly welcomes Joseph Klein as general manager. Formerly the general manager of the renowned Deerhurst Resort, host to the G8 Summit of world leaders in June of 2010, Klein brings over 33 years of experience in hospitality to the Château Champlain.
