InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG®), one of the world's largest hotel companies has announced the signing of Holiday Inn Express® Moscow - Sheremetyevo Airport. The hotel will operate under a management agreement with Palmira LLC.
Leading Russian online hotel booking agency Oktogo.ru, now rebranded as Travel.ru has completed a two-way direct XML connection with eRevMax for seamless rate and booking management. Hotel companies partnering with Oktogo will now be able to make real-time ARI (Availability, Rates & Inventory) updates and receive bookings generated on these channels through eRevMax solutions directly into their property management system. Travel.ru will also benefit from eRevMax's Reservation Delivery service, which facilitates automatic transfer of reservations data booked through its site.

Following a poor first quarter, all segments have caught up over the year to end mostly flat compared to 2012, with only the luxury segment showing any real growth at 4% (all in rate, not occupancy). In fact there has been no occupancy (demand) growth at all across all segments this year compared to last. With ADR also mostly level to last year we have seen a year with no market movement to speak of.
Carlson Rezidor, Russia’s leading international hotel operator, has announced it will open two, new-build hotels in Moscow in 2016. The Radisson Congress Hotel, Moscow will add 400 rooms and a 13,123-square-foot conference center to the portfolio, and the adjacent Park Inn by Radisson Hotel, Moscow will add 600 rooms.

Accor, the world's leading hotel operator, announces that it has entered into a long-term Management Agreement with one of the largest Russian development companies PATERO Development* to manage a hotel complex as part of a multi-functional center to be constructed next to Kievsky Railway Station, in the center of Moscow.
Accor celebrated today the opening of the Novotel Moscow City, its 5th hotel in Moscow and its 16th in Russia. The hotel, which is one of the most modern in Russia and currently the first and only hotel in Moscow's international business center Moscow City, is a co-project with Tashir, one of the largest Russian real estate developer and holding company and with the diversified investor CJSC Soglasie. Total investment made by the two partners amounted to $160 M. Accor operates the hotel under a long term management contract.
Hyatt Hotels Corporation announced today that a Hyatt affiliate has entered into a management agreement with Istra-Kurort LLC, a Russian real estate development company, for a Hyatt Regency hotel in Moscow. Expected to open in 2017, Hyatt Regency Moscow Istra Resort will join the luxurious Ararat Park Hyatt Moscow already open in the city.

IHG (InterContinental Hotels Group) has signed a franchise multiple development agreement (MDA) with Regional Hotel Chain, a portfolio company of VIY Management (VIYM) to develop 15 new hotels in Russia by 2019. The locations for the first two of these hotels are Chelyabinsk and Voronezh.
