Kearney Black has been appointed as Director of Sales and Marketing at Embassy Suites by Hilton Nashville Downtown Convention Center

A 20-year-plus hospitality sales veteran, she most recently was associate director of sales for the 591-room Grand Hyatt Nashville. She has held multiple similar positions, including director of sales and marketing at the 283-suite Embassy Suites by Hilton SE Nashville Hotel and Convention Center and opening cluster director of sales and marketing for the dual-branded, 361-room Hyatt Place/Hyatt House Denver/Downtown.

Radisson RED Nashville Arts District to open late 2021

Marking the brand's entrance into the Music City, Radisson RED Nashville will be part of an existing commercial building, following an extensive renovation which includes adding six floors to construct the hotel. Guests will be able to book any of the 120 guest rooms, along with taking advantage of the fitness center and meeting space. There will be a restaurant and bar in the lobby, or guests can unwind while enjoying the view of the city at the roof top bar. The hotel will also feature a speakeasy in the basement, a first for the Radisson RED brand. The hotel will be located in Nashville's famous Printers Alley, a historic part of Nashville that has dining, shopping and plenty of entertainment. The hotel, which will be managed by Radisson Hotel Group, is anticipated to open in Q3 2021.

Matt Bell has been appointed as Executive Chef at 21c Museum Hotels

21c Museum Hotels, the award-winning Louisville-based boutique hotel, contemporary art museum and restaurant group, announced  the appointment of Matt Bell as executive chef of its Nashville restaurant, Gray & Dudley, located in 21c Museum Hotel Nashville (221 2nd Ave N, Nashville, TN 37201). Bell is the former owner, operator and executive chef of South on Main, in Little Rock, AR.

Graduate Hotels announces Opening of Graduate Nashville

The 205-key hotel is located at 101 20th Avenue North in Nashville's Midtown neighborhood on West End Ave, steps from Vanderbilt University and a short walk to the city's best entertainment on Lower Broadway. Graduate Nashville will feature three food and beverage concepts, opened in partnership with hospitality team Marc Rose and Med Abrous, and include Poindexter, Graduate Hotels' signature all-day café concept; Cross-Eyed Critters Watering Hole, a ground-level animatronic karaoke bar; and the forthcoming Miss Bessie's, a rooftop bar and restaurant with scenic city views.

John D'Angelo has been appointed as General Manager at Grand Hyatt Nashville

Dimension Development, operator of the highly-anticipated Grand Hyatt Nashville, today announced the appointment of John D'Angelo as the luxury hotel's general manager. D'Angelo brings two decades of Hyatt experience to Nashville, having most recently served as the resort manager of the 1,800-room Grand Hyatt Baha Mar in Nassau, Bahamas. A seasoned hotel executive, D'Angelo has more than 20 years of experience in the hospitality industry. Prior to his tenure with Grand Hyatt Baha Mar, D'Angelo helped open Hyatt Regency Denver at Colorado Convention Center and Hyatt Regency Trinidad, and he also served on the executive committees of Manchester Grand Hyatt San Diego, Hyatt Regency Bellevue on Seattle's Eastside, and Hyatt Regency Clearwater Beach Resort and Spa in Florida.
