Baron Ah Moo has joined The PKF hotelexperts group as Managing Director, Head of US

Baron Ah Moo has over 30 years of experience in investment, hospitality finance and operations. Having lived and worked in four different countries, Mr. Ah Moo is a recognized expert in emerging markets and cross border transactions, and his capital markets, mergers and acquisitions and portfolio asset management engagements are global in nature. His list of clients includes private equity funds, major hotel operators and private wealth and family offices. In addition to advising US clients, Mr. Ah Moo is responsible for business development and will co-manage the PKF hotelexperts operations in North America and the Caribbean.Prior to joining PKF hotelexperts, Mr. Ah Moo was the founder and Managing Director of BLI Capital Group, a leisure real estate advisory and consulting firm. His previous roles include serving as the Head of Hotels-Capital Markets for Colliers International based in Hong Kong, COO for the Hotels Division of Lewis Fund Holdings, one of the largest family offices in the UK and as the CEO of Indochina Hotels and Resorts, which managed the largest private portfolio of leisure real estate in Vietnam. Mr. Ah Moo holds a Bachelor's Degree in International Management from the University of San Francisco, and a Master's in Professional Studies from Cornell University's School of Hotel Administration in Ith aca, NY. He is a contributing author to "Strategic Hospitality Leadership - The Asian Initiative" and was nominated by Cornell's President to serve as a member of the University's Alumni Council.

Elisa Chacon has been appointed as Global Director of Sales Americas at Como Hotels and Resorts

Singapore-based luxury hotel group Como Hotels and Resorts appointed Elisa Chacon senior global director of sales for the Americas. Based in New York, she will manage both East and West Coast global sales offices and forge relationships with luxury consortia, wholesale and high-end travel agencies. Chacon brings more than 12 years of hospitality sales experience to her new role, including most recently as the regional director of sales for the Oetker Collection's Jumby Bay Resort in Antigua & Barbuda.

Shahram Khan has been appointed as General Manager at Le Méridien New York, Central Park

A self-motivated leader with over 20 years of hospitality experience, Shahram Khan comes to New York from Boston where he was General Manager at the Le Méridien Boston Cambridge. He played an active role in the Cambridge Chamber of Commerce and Tourism council and held a Marriott Advisory Board position for Children's Miracle Network, which helped raise funding for the Boston Children's Hospital. Khan was recognized as GM of the year from hotel ownership in 2018.
