Kevin Rosa has been appointed as Director of Sales & Marketing at Villas of Grand Cypress

BENCHMARK®, a global hospitality company, has named Kevin Rosa director of sales & marketing for the Forbes Four Star-rated Villas of Grand Cypress, a Gemstone Collection property located in Orlando, Florida. Mark Cox, BENCHMARK's general manager at the resort, made the announcement. Kevin Rosa brings nearly three decades of experience to his new position at Villas of Grand Cypress. He was most recently director of sales and marketing for the Loews Don Cesar Hotel and the Beach House Suites by Loews Don Cesar of St. Petersburg, Florida. He has served in the same position for such signature properties as Turnberry Isle Miami and The Sagamore, Bolton Landing, New York. Mr. Rosa was associate director of sales for The Cloister and The Lodge at Sea Island in Georgia. Earlier in his career he worked with the landmark Greenbrier of White Sulphur Springs, West Virginia, and The Breakers, in Palm Beach, Florida. Mr. Rosa earned his Bachelor of Science degree from the College of Hotel, Restaurant and Travel Administration at Georgia State University. He has been honored by serving on numerous Chamber and CVB Boards throughout his career.

Joe Cardone has been appointed as Hotel Manager at Hilton Orlando

Bringing more than 28 years of hospitality expertise to Hilton Orlando, Joe Cardone previously held a myriad of positions at properties from the Waldorf Astoria in New York City to The Mayflower Renaissance Hotel in Washington D.C. Most recently he acted as the resident manager at the Orlando World Center Marriott. “Rejuvenating our leadership team, these two new faces will bring an air of strategic innovation to the hotel,” said General Manager Chris Mueller. “We are eager to watch them evolve our award-winning traditions.” In his new role, Cardone will oversee revenue and guest satisfaction targets, deliver direction for capital projects, oversee customer service, provide positive and effective leadership, and oversee general strategic development for the hotel.

Justin Garner has been appointed as Director of Food & Beverage at Hilton Orlando

Driving the hotel’s culinary scene forward Justin Garner brings more than 14 years of experience to his new role as food and beverage director. This multi-faceted position encompasses managing of all food and beverage operations throughout the hotel’s seven dining options including five full-service restaurants, a marketplace, lobby bar, in-room dining, and the property’s extensive meetings and events spaces. Prior to joining the Hilton Orlando team, Garner worked as director of food and beverage at the Hilton Austin Convention Center and the director of restaurants at Hilton Waikoloa Village Resort and Spa.

Chris Mueller has been appointed as General Manager at Hilton Orlando

The AAA Four Diamond award winning Hilton Orlando is proud to announce the appointment of Chris Mueller as general manager. Having been an integral part of the opening leadership team in 2009, Mueller’s deep understanding of the innerworkings of the property will be invaluable as he oversees daily operations and long-term strategy for the hotel. As Hilton Orlando’s most recent hotel manager, Mueller consistently demonstrated commitment to strategic growth as he oversaw daily operations of the resort with an emphasis on food and beverage, revenue management, marketing and rooms divisions. Honing all of his professional hospitality triumphs in Orlando, Mueller has gained rare insight into this unique market. “Chris’ passion for the hotel was palpable over the past four months while serving as the interim general manager,” said Senior Vice President of Operations Keith Clampet. “We are confident that the hotel will continue to surpass leadership and revenue goals with Chris at the helm.” In this position, Mueller will oversee all hotel departments and daily functions while developing overarching business strategies that drive growth, increase customer satisfaction and exceed management goals. Prior to his roles at Hilton Orlando, Mueller served as the catering and convention services director at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and the Yacht & Beach Club Resort. He has held additional positions at a myriad of Disney restaurants and resorts since 1991.Mueller holds a Bachelor of Science degree in hotel restaurant and tourism administration from the University of South Carolina. He is an active member of his community serving on Orange County Convention Center’s 20-year Visioning Committee, International Drive Board, and Executive Transportation Committee Board.

Joshua Cain has been appointed as Executive Pastry Chef at Orlando World Center Marriott

Katie Tully has been appointed as director of guest & owner services at The Grove Resort & Spa Orlando

BENCHMARK®, a global hospitality company, has named Katie Tully director of guest & owner services for The Grove Resort & Spa Orlando. The 878 room all-suite hotel, which is a Benchmark Resorts & Hotels property, opened its first phase on March 10, 2017, just minutes from Walt Disney World® Resort in Orlando, Florida. Bill Lee, The Grove’s general manager, made the announcement. Katie Tully most recently served as the director of rental management for Reunion Resort, also located in Orlando, where she was responsible for the administration and management of the property’s home and villa rental programs.

Kristina Turner has been appointed as Director of Marketing at Grand Cypress, a Gemstone Collection

BENCHMARK®, a global hospitality company, has named Kristina Turner area director of marketing for the Forbes Four Star-rated Villas of Grand Cypress, a Gemstone Collection property, and The Grove Resort & Spa Orlando, a Benchmark Resorts & Hotels property that opened its first phase on March 10, 2017. Both resorts are located near Walt Disney World® in Orlando, Florida. Ted Davis, chief sales & marketing office for Benchmark, made the announcement. Kristina Turner comes to Benchmark with nearly two decades of sales and marketing experience. She was most recently director of eCommerce for Hilton, where she led a team of 16 professionals overseeing 600 franchise properties in Florida, Latin America, the Caribbean and the Southeast Atlantic region. Prior to this Ms. Turner served as the regional eCommerce manager for Hilton. She began with the company as regional coordinator of sales & marketing. Ms. Turner graduated from Everest University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. She was part of Hilton’s prestigious High Performer program. Kristina Turner and her husband reside in St. Cloud, Florida, where they also own and operate 3Beez Honey Farm, Inc.

Steve Lipschutz has been appointed as Director of Food & Beverage at Orlando World Center Marriott

Lipschutz brings more than 40+ years of industry involvement and 29+ years of Marriott-specific experience to Orlando World Center Marriott. Since beginning his career in 1977, Lipschutz gained more than a decade of know-how in well-known restaurant franchises before transitioning into the hotel sector and serving at multiple notable Marriott hotels — from Fort Lauderdale Marriott Harbor Beach and Atlanta Marriott Perimeter Center to JW Marriott Marco Island Beach Resort. However, Lipschultz joins Orlando World Center Marriott most recently from the JW Marriott Orlando, Grande Lakes as the Food and Beverage Director, where he oversaw the management of the resort’s F&B department to ensure operations met the highest standards.

Anthony White has been promoted to Area Manager at GF Management

For nearly 10 years, Anthony White has been committed to operational excellence. Anthony began his career with GF Management in 2007 as the Director of Operations at the Hilton Charlotte University Place in Charlotte, NC. As a proven leader, Anthony then served as General Manager at a few of GF’s core hotels. Most recently, Anthony has served as the General Manager at the award winning Embassy Suites Orlando - Lake Buena Vista Resort located just minutes from downtown Orlando, and a Walt Disney World Good Neighbor® Hotel. Anthony played a critical role in the execution of the $14M renovation completed at this property in 2014, making it a cutting edge example for the Embassy Suites brand. Anthony states the success of his teams comes from a genuine guest service approach. “When you make the guest experience something personal, it shows.” From his longevity with the company, Anthony states “GF feels like family. Jeremy Craft has been appointed as Director of Golf at Villas of Grand Cypress

BENCHMARK®, a global hospitality company, has named Jeremy R. Craft director of golf for the Grand Cypress Golf Club at the Villas of Grand Cypress. The luxury resort, located in Orlando, Florida, is part of Benchmark’s prestigious Gemstone Collection. Mark Cox, Benchmark’s general manager, made the announcement. Jeremy Craft was previously head golf professional & buyer for the Grand Cypress Resort of Orlando. Mr. Craft has served as first assistant professional & buyer for the Orange County National Golf Center and Lodge. Earlier in his career he was employed by Troon Golf as tournament coordinator, first assistant and head golf professional. Mr. Craft earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from the University of Central Florida in Orlando. He is the recipient of numerous awards for excellence in golf shop merchandising, and has been nominated as the Golf Professional of the Year. Mr. Craft resides in the Orlando area.
