Marion BRAMI ESSEC IMHI 2009 has been appointed as Business Developer for HEMA. A Dutch discount retail chain owned by the British investment firm Lion Capital LLP since 2007. The chain is characterized by relatively low pricing of generic housewares, offering a wide assortment of inexpensive items for personal and household use. Prior to that Marion was Business Developer at ‘’Pomme de Pain’’ for nearly 3 years. Marion joined ‘’Cinq à Sec’’ as Franchise Business Developper upon graduation.
April's results were generally somewhat gloomy. However, a closer look reveals a contrasting hotel landscape. After the brief lull in March, the Capital began to slide again. AccorHotels ramps up its digital drive by transforming its AccorHotels.com distribution platform into a marketplace open to a selection of independent hotels. This service will gradually become available to hoteliers in the first target markets starting at the end of June 2015, and guests will be able to access it from July 2015. In time, the objective is to offer more than 10,000 hotels in 300 key cities worldwide, or a three-fold increase in the number of hotels on AccorHotels.com. This initiative is part of the Group's transformation which kicked off in 2013.
The situation started to pick up a little for the French hotel industry in March. Although hotels did not record exceptional results, March did allow the first trimester to close on a positive note, particularly in Paris. This was especially the case for Budget and Midscale hotels, and to a certain extent, Upscale hotels, too.

Hilton Worldwide has reached an agreement to rebrand Paris' Astor Hotel Saint-Honoré under Curio – A Collection by Hilton. The hotel, owned by Maranatha Group, will undergo a substantial refurbishment prior to welcoming its first guests under the Curio brand in 2016 and will open under a franchise between Maranatha and Hilton Worldwide.

France's tourism supply isn't making headway. Just a slight understatement... The small bound observed in the growth of the hotel supply last year came after five consecutive years of contraction.
