Aiman Roujouleh has been appointed as Regional Director of Sales Middle East at Mandarin Oriental

Roujouleh first joined Mandarin Oriental in April 2012 as regional director of sales, Saudi Arabia and Bahrain, based in Riyadh. His remit has been extended to include the whole Middle East region, including Turkey. In his new role, Roujouleh will focus on building and developing a sales team of six people based in both Riyadh and Dubai. Prior to his tenure with Mandarin Oriental, Roujouleh was associate regional director of sales for Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts, based in Saud Arabia. He has a Bachelor of Business Administration (Hospitality) from Les Roches, Switzerland.

Andrea Colla has been named Food and Beverage Director at Four Seasons Hotel Riyadh

With 20 years of experience in hospitality, Andrea started his career in Venice, his native city in Italy, and throughout the years has held key management positions with some of the finest hotels in Europe before joining the family of Four Seasons. His most recent tenure was as Director of Food and Beverage at Four Seasons Hotel Gresham Palace Budapest. He is a graduate of the Learning Centre Starwood with a diploma in food and beverage and the Institute Alberghiero Giuseppe Maffioli, Castelfranco Veneto with a national diploma in hotel and catering management.

Tarek Nour has been appointed as Hotel Manager at Four Seasons Riyadh

Four Seasons Hotel Riyadh welcomes Tarek Nour as its new Hotel Manager. A Four Seasons veteran who has 12 years of international hospitality experience, Nour arrives in the Kingdom from Four Seasons Hotel Baltimore, where he spent two years as Director of Rooms. Born in Cairo, Nour was from an early age involved with the operating of various family businesses including a Lebanese restaurant in the heart of Cairo. As exciting as the restaurant business must have been, Nour's ultimate calling was the rooms division, and over the past 12 years, he has become a true rooms specialist whose skills were in high demand, as he regularly was called upon to assist with the opening of new Four Seasons properties around the world. Nour has also played a key role in Four Seasons rooms council both in the Europe/Middle East/Africa region and the Americas. Delighted with his first appointment as Hotel Manager, Nour is looking forward to the challenge of overseeing all operational elements of the 274-room hotel.

Mark Carnazzola has been appointed as General Manager at Nobu Hotel Riyadh

As progress continues on the Middle East’s first Nobu Hotel, slated to welcome guests in late 2014, Nobu Hospitality announces Mark Carnazzola as General Manager of the Nobu Hotel Riyadh. Carnazzola will oversee the operation working with his team to implement the highest service standards and uphold Nobu experience expectations. Carnazzola is no newcomer to the luxury hotel industry with nearly 20 years of experience in hospitality with Mandarin Oriental, the Maybourne Group, (the Claridge’s Hotel, The Berkeley Hotel, The Connaught Hotel), and Jumeirah Hotels.

Robert Todak has been appointed as General Manager and Area Director at Nobu Hotel Riyadh

Todak has been a driving force in the hospitality industry for the past 25-years most recently as General Manager at the Acqualina Resort, achieving the coveted AAA Five Diamond award, previously having attained the winner of the Conde Nast Travelers coveted "Hotel List" for The Betsy Hotel South Beach. Todak was the opening General Manager of the Hard Rock Hotel San Diego, having previously served as the General Manager of the Hard Rock Hotel Chicago gaining for both the AAA Four Diamond status and the Conde Nast Hotel List award. Todak has held a variety of key management positions in New York and Miami with hotel groups such as Chris Blackwell's Island Outposts with the Tides and Marlin Hotels, Ian Schrager's Morgans Hotel Group with the Delano, Shore Club and Paramount Hotels, and Hilton's Waldorf Astoria

Kym Barter has been named EAM Food and Beverage at Nobu Hotel Riyadh

Barter formerly served as the General Manager Premium Restaurant Operations of Crown Melbourne, overseeing 20 restaurants including various award-wining destinations including Nobu, Number 8, Silks, and Koko in addition to venues such as The Merrywell and Mr. Hive Kitchen & Bar (formerly Maze by Gordon Ramsay). Prior to joining Crown Melbourne, Barter was Food and Beverage Director with various hotel companies throughout Asia including the InterContinental Bangkok, Shangri-La's China World Hotel, Beijing and the flagship Island Shangri-La, Hong Kong. Barter has held a variety of key management positions previously with Crown Melbourne, Crown Towers Resort and Marina Mirage in Australia.

Alexander Pichel has been appointed as Managing Director at Al Faisaliah Hotel and Hotel Al Khozama

Already a member of the senior management, Alex Pichel has held the position of General Manager of Al Faisaliah Hotel for the last two years. He brings a wealth of knowledge to Rosewood Hotels & Resorts, with more than 25 years of hospitality experience around the globe including Germany, Great Britain, France, Russia, Azerbaijan, UAE and Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.In his new role, Alex Pichel will oversee the day-to-day operations and activities of both hotels, and implement the company's growth strategy.

Nihad Kattan has been named regional vice president, Jordan and general manager at Fairmont Riyadh Business Gate

In support of Fairmont’s growing presence in the Middle East, Nihad Kattan has been named regional vice president, Jordan and general manager at Fairmont Riyadh Business Gate. Kattan, who was named to the 2009 list of 50 Most Powerful Hoteliers in the Middle East, has a resume that includes several progressive roles with industry giant Marriott International. He joins Fairmont from his most recent position as country general manager – Jordan for Marriott Hotels based in Amman.

Nizar Weshah has been appointed as General Manager at Hyatt Regency Riyadh, Olaya

Nizar Weshah has been appointed general manager of Hyatt Regency Riyadh, Olaya. Nizar holds a Hotel Management degree from Al Mustansiriyat University in Iraq, and joined Grand Hyatt Amman's opening team in October 1998 as an Outlet Manager, where he was later appointed as Assistant Director of Food & Beverage in July 1999. Weshah has worked in several Hyatt hotels around the world such as Hyatt Hotels Baku, Grand Hyatt Muscat, Hyatt Regency Belgrade and was subsequently appointed in September 2008 as the opening team EAM Food & Beverage for Park Hyatt Jeddah, where he has held his most recent role as Director of Operations since September 2010.
