With a deep passion for the service industry, he started his career in Mandarin Oriental Manila as a Headwaiter and was first appointed General Manager with The Westin Philippine Plaza (currently Sofitel Philippine Plaza) in 2005.

She will be responsible for growing key corporate accounts and manage all aspects of sales & marketing, including customer relationship management, segmentation marketing, digital marketing, as well as brand & communication strategies. Anuradha has over ~ years of experience in hotel sales & marketing management and has been with IHG for ~ years. Prior to the move, she was Director of Sales & Marketing with Crowne Plaza Sohar in Oman and has championed several successful marketing campaigns that drove incremental revenue. Bringing with her a wealth of experience, Anuradha will identify growth opportunities in the region and reinforce our brand presence as a leading service property in Singapore for business and leisure travellers.

Veronique Augier Nel has been appointed as Director of Communications & CSR Asia Pacific at AccorHotels

AccorHotels has appointed Veronique Augier Nel to the positon of Director of Communications & CSR Asia Pacific. Veronique has been with AccorHotels Asia Pacific for seven years, overseeing Communications for the group's Talent & Culture team. A graduate of the Lausanne Hotel Management School in Switzerland, she has previously worked with Starwood, Hyatt Hotels and Walt Disney World. 

Philip Wong has been appointed as General Manager at Mercure Singapore Bugis

A hotel veteran with over 35 years' operational experience, Mr Wong has held many senior management positions in reputable hotels in Singapore and Asia including the Starwood Hotels and Resorts, the Ritz Carlton Hotel Company, Shangri-La International Group and Cairnhill Hotels & Resorts, among others. Mr Wong was most recently the General Manager/Area General Manager of Dorsett Singapore and played an instrumental role in the opening of the hotel. With a Master of Business Administration degree from University of Leicester in United Kingdom, Mr Wong also attended general management courses from University of Cornell in New York.

Matthew Cooper has been named General Manager of the Year at The Hotelier Awards Asia 2018

Taking home the "General Manager of the Year" Award for Asia was Matthew Cooper, General Manager- JW Marriott Dongdaemun Square. "Wow what a surprise! Ramzy Fenianos has been appointed as Chief Development Officer, Asia Pacific at Radisson Hotel Group
