Brian Marsh has been appointed as General Manager at Lumière Place Casino and Hotels

Tropicana Entertainment Inc. announces the appointment of Brian Marsh as General Manager of its Lumière Place Casino and Hotels in St. Louis, Missouri. Mr. Marsh's appointment is subject to licensing by the Missouri Gaming Commission. Drawing on more than two decades of experience in the casino industry, Mr. Marsh is responsible for overall operations at Lumière Place. Prior to joining Tropicana, Mr. Marsh was based in Indiana. For ten years, he held multiple roles at French Lick Resort & Casino, ultimately earning the title of General Manager. During his tenure, he oversaw the grand opening of the property and managed its day-to-day operations. Prior to Indiana, Mr. Marsh served as Director of Slot Operations for Trump Indiana Casino and Hotel, Manager of Regional Gaming Operations for WMS Gaming Illinois, and Director of Slot Operations for Harrah's Entertainment. He attended Purdue University in Lafayette, Indiana.

Prior to joining the property, Stremsterfer was a member of the Hilton family for over 10 years, where she most recently opened the brand new Hilton Garden Inn Washington DC/Georgetown Area and exceeded revenue at the property by 113%.

Amanda Michael has been appointed as General Manager at Home2 Suites by Hilton St. Louis

Atlanta-based Hotel Equities (www.hotelequities.com) announced the hiring of Amanda Michael as the General Manager of the Home2 Suites by Hilton Forest Park, the hotel nearing completion in St. Louis, Missouri. Hotel Equities is managing the 107-room hotel for Above All Development, LLC of St. Louis. Ms. Michael came to Hotel Equities from Choice Hotels International where she served as the Area Director, Franchise Services. Previous management positions include Director of Operations for Hawkeye Hotels and Regional Director of Operations for Royco Hotels.

Joe Hindsley has been appointed as General Manager at Hyatt Regency St. Louis at the Arch

Joe Hindsley, who has served as Hyatt Regency Atlanta's General Manager since 2004, has been named General Manager of Hyatt Regency St. Louis at the Arch. Hindsley, a 30-year Hyatt veteran, was named Hyatt's "General Manager of the Year" among all large Hyatt hotels for 2012. He was the driving force behind the hotel's successful $65 million transformation, which included redesigning and updating its 1,260 guestrooms, dining experiences and 180,000 square feet of meeting and convention space.

A native of Hawaii and a veteran hotelier with more than 30 years of experience, Chang comes to The Ritz-Carlton, St. Louis after serving the past four years as general manager for The Ritz-Carlton Club and Residences, Kapalua Bay on the island of Maui. Prior to opening that resort, Chang was the general manager of the Hotel Hana-Maui recognized by Travel + Leisure as one of the top five hotels in Hawaii from 2001 to 2008. His previous experience also includes serving as hotel manager of the Kauai Marriott Resort & Beach Club, a four-diamond mixed-u se property, and serving as general manager of the Hanalei Bay Resort, which included directing the restoration of the resort following Hurricane Iniki in 1992.

Rita’s previous experience includes two years as the group and catering sales manager for the St. Louis Marriott West hotel, and two years as director of sales for the Residence Inn of O’Fallon, Missouri.
