Hot Hotel Opening In 2020: Adina Apartment Hotel Sydney

Sydney will have a new drawcard attraction when a stunning apartment hotel opens, designed by JPW Architects and with interiors by Carr Design Group. The hotel will take in the lights of the city from a restaurant and bar on Level 22 while a sky lobby and reception will be on Level 21, alongside a gym and pool area. Located at 280 George St, next to Australia Square, the hotel will have 194 keys, comprising eight two-bedroom apartments, 104 one-bedroom and 82 studio apartments.

Rising through the culinary ranks quickly, Chef Miko turned his hand to roles at Raffles and Fairmont Hotels thereafter, investing in every opportunity and gaining reputable experience from the world-renowned chefs he was working alongside.

Vibe Hotel Darling Harbour

A new lifestyle hotel with a New York style in 145 guest rooms and suites will open at the upper end of Sydney's Chinatown, as a neighbour to the redeveloped entertainment precinct, the Darling Quarter. With architectural and interior design by WMK, it has inspired Manhattan style rooms and cool communal spaces typical of the Vibe Hotels brand. The hotel will add to the growing energy of the area, with an all-day dining restaurant, fully equipped gym, meeting rooms, infinity edge rooftop pool and an urban styled grand facade entry. The rooms will feature an array of lifestyle features with their New York inspired design including curved rainfall showers, embedded window day lounges and retro bathroom fixtures. Sydney based property developer Icon Oceania is known for high-end residential developments in Sydney's lower North Shore and Eastern Suburbs. This will be their first flagship hotel in Sydney.

Antony Ritch has been appointed as Chief Executive Officer at TFE Hotels

TFE Hotels is pleased to announce the appointment of Antony Ritch as the new Chief Executive Officer following a global search. Antony will be relocating from Los Angeles, USA to Sydney, Australia and will commence his role at TFE Hotels in February 2019. Antony is an Australian with a global career spanning over 20 years with Westfield Corporation. During his career he has undertaken a diverse range of senior roles across Australia, the USA and the UK which have honed his leadership, commercial and entrepreneurial skills. He has held international roles in shopping centre operations, property development, regional operations, business development, digital disruption and corporate management. Antony has been accountable for driving and delivering complex strategies for both operational management and development feasibilities. In his property development roles, he has overseen a multi-billion dollar property portfolio over numerous jurisdictions and has also partnered with some of the world's largest investment groups to deliver key projects. His most recent appointments saw him play a key leadership role in Westfield's digital transformation, as Chief Operating Officer for Westfield Labs, and then Executive Vice President of Shopping Centres and Venues for OneMarket, that became an independent company following the Westfield merger with Unibail Rodamco. He has worked at the forefront of creating unique customer destinations, bringing together physical environments, technology and people to create better retail experiences for customers. Antony holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of NSW, and an MBA from the University of Cambridge.
