Bryan Woody has been appointed as General Manager at Madeline Hotel & Residences, Auberge Resorts Collection

Madeline Hotel & Residences, Auberge Resorts Collection, the luxury mountainside retreat in Telluride, Colorado, has appointed Bryan Woody as General Manager. With more than 20 years of luxury experience, Woody will oversee all operations for the 83-room and 71-residence property that is poised to unveil a comprehensive renovation in December 2020. Prior to joining Auberge Resorts Collection, Woody was the General Manager of Spring Place, a collaborative workspace and membership club for global professionals and entrepreneurs in New York City. Woody also served as Area General Manager for Morgans Hotel Group, and before that, as Assistant Director of Food & Beverage at The Ritz-Carlton New York, Central Park and Waldorf Astoria Hotel and Towers in Manhattan.

Bill Greenwood has been appointed as Executive Chef at Madeline Hotel & Residences, Auberge Resorts Collection

Framed by the majestic 14,000-foot peaks and wide blue skies of Colorado's Rocky Mountains from its perch in Telluride's Mountain Village, Madeline Hotel & Residences, Auberge Resorts Collection today announces Bill Greenwood as executive chef. Greenwood brings more than 13 years of culinary experience at some of Colorado's top kitchens and as a corporate executive chef in Texas and California to his new role. Beyond helming the hotel's signature modern mountain restaurant Black Iron Kitchen + Bar, Greenwood will oversee all food and beverage operations for the hotel, including M Lounge, the Sky Terrace, in-room dining, catering and creative pop-up culinary activations.

Robert Rhea has been appointed as Director of Food & Beverage at Madeline Hotel and Residences

Madeline Hotel and Residences in Telluride, Colorado, is pleased to announce the appointment of Robert Rhea as Director of Food & Beverage. Tapping management experience earned across the country, Rhea oversees all dining operations for the Four-Diamond hotel, working closely with Executive Chef George Morris on creating exciting new local and seasonal offerings at Black Iron Kitchen and Bar, finalizing a new concept for M Club and bringing the Sky Terrace into full operation as a unique destination for guests during the summer months. Rhea will also work to cultivate relationships with area farmers, ranchers, fishmongers, distillers and brew masters to source the finest local products for the hotel's restaurants.

Todd Gehrke has been appointed as Director of Sales & Marketing at Hotel Madeline Telluride

With wide-ranging sales experience, much of it in the Colorado market, Todd Gehrke oversees all sales and marketing operations at Hotel Madeline Telluride, including creating innovative strategies targeted to meeting and event clientele. Gehrke is well acquainted with the Telluride market, having served as Director of Group & Conference Solutions at the Telluride Tourism Board for the past three years. Previously, Gehrke was Vice President of Sales - Leisure & Corporate Experiences at Dream Outdoors in Aspen; National Sales Manager - Corporate & Incentive at Hilton Hotels Corporation in South Carolina; and National Sales Manager at Rocky Mountain Connections, among other positions. He got his start in the luxury leisure travel industry, as a Travel Advisor and Agency Manager. Gehrke has received many accolades over his career, most recently being named one of "40 Under 40 Industry People to Watch" in 2012 by Connect Magazine. As a Certified Meeting Manager (Meeting Planners International) and Certified Travel Industry Executive (The Travel Institute), Gehrke's well-rounded education bodes to elevate opportunities for the destination.

Noel Daniel has been appointed as General Manager at Hotel Madeline Telluride

A dynamic leader with more than a quarter century of experience in luxury ski resort management, Noel Daniel is now General Manager responsible for all daily operations at Hotel Madeline Telluride. Daniel didn't have to travel far to take on her new assignment, having served as Resort Manager of Hotel Madeline since 2009. Daniel's comprehensive knowledge of resort operations was garnered through positions at standout properties including General Manager of Peaks Resort in Telluride; opening Director of Operations at El Monte Sagrado Resort and Spa in Taos, New Mexico; and Resident Manager/Director of Operations at The Lodge and Spa at Cordillera in Vail. Daniel got her start in North Carolina as Food and Beverage Director of the Highland Lake Inn in Hendersonville.

Angela Cava has been named Director of Sales & Marketing at Hotel Madeline and theInn at Lost Creek

Cava arrived in Telluride from St. Regis Aspen Resort, where, as Director of Group Sales, she helped to reposition the hotel as the leader in luxury mountain resorts during a 40 million dollar redesign. Previously, she held a range of sales and marketing positions over two decades with Marriott International, including Senior Account Executive at JW Marriott San Antonio Hill Country Resort and Spa where she opened the 1002 room resort with 265,000-square-feet of function space, two PGA golf courses and a six-acre water park, to Marriott's key accounts in the incentive, insurance and back yard Texas market; Director of National Accounts for nine Marriott resorts across the Caribbean and Mexico, including the Five Diamond-rated JW Marriott Cancun; Director of National Accounts in Marriott's Hawaii Regional Sales office; and Director of National Accounts in the Marriott Global Sales office. Cava began her hospitality career as a top-producing Senior Sales Manager at Austin Marriott back in 1989.

Jim Mikula has been appointed as Managing Director at Hotel Madeline Telluride & Inn At Lost Creek

Ektornet US, Inc. has announced the appointment of Jim Mikula as Managing Director of Hotel Madeline Telluride and the Inn at Lost Creek in Telluride, Colorado. Bringing enviable experience in managing multi-faceted businesses at the top end of the hospitality industry, Mikula is responsible for all operations at the Colorado Rocky Mountain luxury addresses, including assuring a 5-Star guest experience and successful sales and marketing efforts at both properties. Mikula spent 11 years with Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts, finishing as Area Director of Marketing with regional sales and marketing responsibility for 10 hotels in the Asia Pacific region. He arrived in Telluride following an extended run as General Manager at upscale properties including Boot Ranch, a luxury community and private club in Fredericksburg, Texas; Baronette Renaissance Hotel Novi, a boutique hotel in Novi, Michigan; and Cornerstone Colorado, a luxury community and private club located between Montrose and Telluride. Born and raised on a horse ranch in Sacramento, CA, Mikula earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Hotel Administration from University of Nevada Las Vegas.

Daniel Barr has been named General Manager at Hotel Madeline and the Inn at Lost Creek

Manhattan Hospitality Advisors, Inc. (MHA) has announced the assumption of management of two 5-star luxury hotels in Telluride, Colorado. Effective February 1, 2011, the recently renamed Hotel Madeline and the Inn at Lost Creek became the newest members of MHA's international hotel portfolio, along with 66 luxurious condominiums for sale. Both properties will continue operations uninterrupted throughout the 2011 ski season and beyond.

Amanda Acosta has been appointed as Director of Sales at The Hotel Telluride (Destination Hotels & Resorts)

Amanda Acosta has been appointed the new director of sales for The Hotel Telluride. Destination Hotels & Resorts took over management of Colorado’s 59-room boutique hotel in 2009. Acosta previously served as assistant director of sales and marketing for The Peaks Resort and Spa and the sales and a national sales manager for The Buena Vista Palace in Orlando, Fla. She earned a degree in media and communication management from Appalachian State University in 2005. The Hotel Telluride is located in the heart of the historic mountain town and is consistently rated by Conde Nast Traveler as one of the top ski hotels in the magazine’s annual “Best Places to Ski & Stay” reader’s poll.
