Robert Parody has been appointed as Director of Food & Beverage at Costa d’Este Beach Resort

Robert Parody was previously director of food & beverage for Sea Pines Country Club of Hilton Head, South Carolina. He was highly successful in this position and together with his team built a nationally recognized wine program which won awards, including the Award of Merit and Distinction for the past six years from the International Wine Society. Prior to this appointment, Mr. Parody served as director of restaurants and private dining for The River House, an Auberge property also located on Hilton Head Island. Originally born in New York City and raised in the scenic Pocono Mountains of eastern Pennsylvania, Mr. Parody moved to the warmer climate of Hilton Head following service in the United States Navy. It was here that he met his wife, Paola, a native of Bolivia, and where he entered the food & beverage division of the hospitality industry.

Denielle Godwin has been appointed as Director of Sales & Catering at Costa d’Este Beach Resort

Benchmark Hospitality International®, a leading U.S.-based hospitality management company, has named Denielle Godwin director of sales & catering for Costa d’Este Beach Resort. Ed Riley, general manager for the property, Benchmark’s Personal Luxury Resort® located oceanside in Vero Beach, Florida, made the announcement. Denielle Godwin was previously the highly successful director of sales for both the Westgate Resort & Spa of Park City, Utah, and the Westgate River Ranch, located in River Ranch, Florida. During her tenure with the company, she significantly increased business in both the leisure and group segments. Prior to this she served in sales leadership positions for properties and travel-related companies located in Utah and California.

Antonio Estremera has been appointed as Executive Chef at Costa d’Este Beach Resort

mark Hospitality International, a leading U.S.-based hospitality management company, has named Antonio Estremera executive chef for Costa d’Este Beach Resort, located in Vero Beach, Florida. Costa d’Este Beach Resort is a part of Benchmark Hospitality’s collection of Personal Luxury Resorts & HotelsSM. Ed Riley, Benchmark’s general manager at the oceanside property, made the announcement. Prior to joining Costa d’Este, Antonio Estremera served as executive sous chef for the Center for Leadership Excellence, a private Benchmark Hospitality property located in Bethesda, Maryland. His first position with Benchmark was as chef tournant for Lansdowne Resort, which Benchmark operated at the time. Mr. Estremera previously served as executive chef for Café Panache of Ashburn, Virginia. He and his family are relocating to Vero Beach.

Ed Riley has been appointed as General Manager at Costa d’Este Beach Resort

Benchmark Hospitality International, a leading U.S.-based hospitality management company, has named Ed Riley general manager for Costa d’Este Beach Resort, located oceanside in Vero Beach, Florida. Costa d’Este Beach Resort is part of Benchmark Hospitality’s Personal Luxury Resorts & Hotels. Greg Champion, Benchmark’s chief operating officer, made the announcement Previously, Ed Riley was general manager of the Harbor Hotel on Lake Seneca in Watkins Glen, New York. During his tenure there the property achieved Four Diamond Award status. Mr. Riley has also owned and operated The West Dover Inn, an historic Vermont property, which he successfully repositioned as one of the leading destinations its market.

Awilda Rivera has been appointed as at Costa d’Este Beach Resort

A hospitality veteran with extensive operational and human resources experience, Awilda Rivera was previously the general manager of Villas Caletón, Cap Cana of Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic. She held the same position for the Casa Ybel Resort on Sanibel Island off the southwest coast of Florida. Ms. Rivera has also served in the role of vice president of human resources & training development for Coral Hospitality of Naples, Florida. She started with the company as corporate manager. Earlier in her career, Ms. Rivera gained important food and beverage experience as owner and operator of Amador's Italian Restaurant, an award- winning, four-star fine dining experience located in Naples, Florida. Awilda Rivera attended Hodges University of Naples, Florida. She has relocated to Vero Beach.
