Antony Ritch has been appointed as Chief Executive Officer at TFE Hotels

TFE Hotels is pleased to announce the appointment of Antony Ritch as the new Chief Executive Officer following a global search. Antony will be relocating from Los Angeles, USA to Sydney, Australia and will commence his role at TFE Hotels in February 2019. Antony is an Australian with a global career spanning over 20 years with Westfield Corporation. During his career he has undertaken a diverse range of senior roles across Australia, the USA and the UK which have honed his leadership, commercial and entrepreneurial skills. He has held international roles in shopping centre operations, property development, regional operations, business development, digital disruption and corporate management. Antony has been accountable for driving and delivering complex strategies for both operational management and development feasibilities. In his property development roles, he has overseen a multi-billion dollar property portfolio over numerous jurisdictions and has also partnered with some of the world's largest investment groups to deliver key projects. His most recent appointments saw him play a key leadership role in Westfield's digital transformation, as Chief Operating Officer for Westfield Labs, and then Executive Vice President of Shopping Centres and Venues for OneMarket, that became an independent company following the Westfield merger with Unibail Rodamco. He has worked at the forefront of creating unique customer destinations, bringing together physical environments, technology and people to create better retail experiences for customers. Antony holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of NSW, and an MBA from the University of Cambridge.

Lovelynn Clark has been appointed as General Manager at Quay Perth

As Louis T Collection continues to oversee the multi-million dollar redevelopment and repositioning of Perth's now-shuttered New Esplanade Hotel, the hotel management company has announced it will reopen in Q1 2019 as Quay Perth, a new four-star boutique hotel, with seasoned hospitality executive Lovelynn Clark as general manager. An Australian national born in Malaysia, Clark brings close to three decades of experience in hospitality to Louis T Collection, with a career that has taken her through Asia, the Middle East and Australia. Most recently, she was part of the pre-opening leadership team at the five-star, 468-room Viceroy Palm Jumeirah Dubai, where she served as executive housekeeper. Fittingly, Clark returns to Perth where she began her hospitality career in 1990 as a food & beverage server at the Hyatt Regency.Clark has been a member of pre-opening hotel teams for several five-star properties in mainland China, including the Park Hyatt Beijing, and Hyatt Regency hotels in Hangzhou, Dongguan, Jingjing City, Qingdao and Xian. She was also a member of the opening team and served as director of lifestyle for Armani Hotel Dubai. She was a rooms consultant for Park Hyatt Maldives and then rejoined the Park Hyatt Hotel Canberra in a management role.

Hilton Expands Presence in Australia with Signing of Hilton Parramatta

Hilton today announced the signing of Hilton Parramatta, which will add to Hilton Hotels & Resorts' portfolio of 101 world class properties in the Asia Pacific region. Under a management agreement with Ledrae Hotels Pty Ltd, Hilton will manage the new-build hotel, located in the heart of one of Sydney's fastest growing suburbs. Construction of the 245-room hotel will commence Q4 2018 and is due for completion by late 2020.
