Hilton to Enter Cambodia with Hilton Phnom Penh in 2022

Hilton, one of the world's fastest-growing hospitality companies, has announced the signing of a management agreement with real estate development group GFC Company Limited to operate a new hotel in the heart of Cambodian capital, Phnom Penh. Part of a mixed-use development, the opening of the 280-room Hilton Phnom Penh in 2022 will mark the entry of the hotel company into the country.

For ten years he was with Orient Express Belmond as Hotel Manager on Road to Mandalay in Myanmar and in corporate sales roles.

Hotel Nikko Phnom Penh to Open in 2022

Okura Nikko Hotel Management Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Hotel Okura Co., Ltd., announced today that in 2022 it will open Hotel Nikko Phnom Penh in the Cambodian capital. The hotel will occupy the upper level of the Japan Trade Center (tentative name), currently under construction, and the company expects to sign a contract on December 25, 2018 with UY United Co., Ltd. to manage the new property, following an investment in that company by URATA Co., Ltd.

Sebastien Menesguen has been appointed as General Manager at Alila Villas Koh Russey

Sebastien Menesguen has joined Alila Villas Koh Russey in the role of general manager. The thrill of being in a new country and learning from a new team has been the driving force at each step along the way of his 18-year-long career. Menesguen joins Alila Villas Koh Russey from Alila Jakarta, where he has been general manager since 2016. Since beginning his career in early 2000 with the Accor in the United Kingdom, Menesguen has taken up pivotal positions as a hotelier. Demonstrating effective leadership and a self-described "detail-oriented" management style, he proved himself instrumental in opening three properties for Tauzia Hotel Management in Bali and acting as cluster general manager for three of their brands in West Java. Since 2006, Menesguen has called Indonesia home, where he has continued to pursue his childhood passion for horseback riding while also becoming PADI certified.
