Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group Fuels Growth In China With Radisson Hangzhou Qianjiang

Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group, one of the world's largest and most dynamic hotel groups, today signed a management agreement for Radisson Hangzhou Qianjiang. Owned by Zhejiang Wanxiang Real Estate Co., Ltd., this new-build hotel will form part of the mixed-use development with office and retail space. Radisson Hangzhou Qianjiang is scheduled to open in the third quarter of 2019.

Hilton Garden Inn Debuts in Sichuan Province

Hilton Garden Inn, Hilton Worldwide's (NYSE: HLT) upscale global hotel brand, today announced the opening of Hilton Garden Inn Chengdu Huayang, which is owned by Huayinda Real Estate Co., Ltd and managed by Hilton Worldwide. Update On China's Ministry of Commerce Review Of Marriott And Starwood Merger

Marriott International, Inc. (NASDAQ: MAR) and Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc. (NYSE: HOT) today announced that, at the request of the Chinese Ministry of Commerce (MOFCOM), they have agreed to extend the time period for MOFCOM to complete its review of the Marriott-Starwood merger transaction. This additional review period, known as phase three, could last up to 60 days.
