Hilton Worldwide has reached an agreement to rebrand Paris' Astor Hotel Saint-Honoré under Curio – A Collection by Hilton. The hotel, owned by Maranatha Group, will undergo a substantial refurbishment prior to welcoming its first guests under the Curio brand in 2016 and will open under a franchise between Maranatha and Hilton Worldwide.

Marriott International's Content Studio has teamed-up with the company's flagship brand, Marriott Hotels to produce and release French Kiss, the Studio's second original short film. Parisian hotels were hit by the dramatic events at Charlie Hebdo and Porte de Vincennes. Demand dropped, particularly in hotel categories that traditionally welcome a high proportion of overseas guests. However, the decline remained limited and could have been more significant had the destination not been able to rapidly reassure foreign visitors. Further afield, the French hotel industry had a good month, driven by several key destinations with strong MICE business.
The online leisure group booking solution for tourism professionals was launched in March 2014. One year on, it has already been deployed in 500 hotels in 150 destinations located mostly in Europe. Starwood Capital Group and Jin Jiang International Holdings Co., Ltd. are pleased to confirm that the sale of Groupe du Louvre and its 100% indirect subsidiary Louvre Hotels Group has been completed. Through Starwood affiliate Star SDL Investment Co., Groupe du Louvre was sold to the Luxemburg-based subsidiary of Shanghai Jin Jiang International Hotels Development Co., Ltd., for an amount of €1.3 billion.
