Pariva Rustagi has been appointed as Regional Director, Sales – India at Hilton Worldwide

Pariva will lead sales efforts for the Hilton Worldwide portfolio of hotels in India. Hilton Worldwide presently operates hotels and resorts under its upscale and mid-market brands across nine cities in India including New Delhi, Gurgaon, Mumbai, Chennai, Bangalore, Pune, Vadodara, Trivandrum and Goa. Pariva will also initiate a comprehensive strategy to drive outbound business from India to hotels operated by Hilton Worldwide in other parts of the world.

Vishal Singh has been appointed as General Manager at Hyatt Pune

Singh comes with about 18 years of experience in the hospitality industry. Singh’s key responsibility would be to ensure the smooth functioning of the property. Hyatt Pune prides itself as an ideal hospitality destination for business and leisure travellers with a selection of dining experiences. Singh is responsible for optimising the operations of the hotel along with training and working with the team to ensure total guest satisfaction. Singh has pursued his Bachelors in Hotel Management from the Institute of Hotel Management, Catering Technology and Nutrition, New Delhi. He also has a Masters in Business Administration. In his free time Vishal likes to travel and was a state level shooter.

Biswajit Chakraborty has been appointed as General Manager at Sofitel Mumbai BKC

Prior to Sofitel Mumbai BKC, Chakraborty has played the role of a General Manager for over a decade. The two Iconic Hotels the Yak and Yeti in Nepal, The Leela Kempinski Kovalam and Mumbai as well as the grand Mövenpick Hotel & Spa Bangalore are a few luxury hotels in India with whom he has led. Under his reign, Mövenpick Hotels & Spa Bangalore was the first five star hotel to be certified as the first Green Globe Hotel in India. He has also been awarded the ‘General Manager of the Year’ by Hotelier India in 2009 amongst many other honors. He held key positions in Sales and Marketing as DSM in Oberoi Hotels Bangalore, Delhi and Mumbai, as well as served the Taj Group. Chakraborty will join Sofitel Mumbai BKC with effect from February 1, 2014.

Kunal Chauhan has been appointed as General Manager at The Leela Palace Bangalore

hauhan comes with a strong F & B background having set up award-winning operations as the Executive Assistant Manager – Food & Beverage at The Leela Palace Ambiance Gurgaon, for which he was recognized as the “F&B Manager of the Year” by the prestigious Hotelier India Awards. Kunal is an alumni of OCLD (Oberoi Centre of learning and development) and holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree along with a diploma in hotel management. Kunal has also served as the Resident Manager at the group’s flagship property, The Leela Palace New Delhi. His operational experience, multi-property management, refurbishment and renovation experience across different hotels are distinguishing facets of his career.

Faiz Alam Ansari has been appointed as General Manager at Aloft Bengaluru Cessna Business Park

Ansari’s earlier projects have included stints at Raffles Hotel, Singapore where he managed 18 restaurants and bars as Assistant F&B Manager. He has worked as Director of F&B and Executive Assistant Manager at the Le Meridien, Kuala Lumpur. Prior to moving to Aloft Bengaluru Cessna Park Ansari was Hotel manager of the flagship Westin Hotel in India, Westin Gurgaon, New Delhi.
