In her current role, Masni who possessed more than 29 years of hospitality experience will play a pivotal role in driving the business of the hotel through the implementation of a strategic business plan, oversees the day-on-day operation of the hotel and will be responsible in ensuring that the hotel meet the revenue target for the year apart from ensuring that the service level and positioning of the hotel is consistently maintained in the market place. Masni was most recently the General Manager for Hotel Royal Penang. Prior to that, she had worked in Holiday Inn Resort Penang and Hydro Hotel Penang in the capacity of Director of Sales & Marketing.
A Swedish national, Anders is a veteran hotelier with over 19 years of experience in the luxury hospitality industry. He returned to Banyan Tree Hotels & Resorts in February 2016 as General Manager of Banyan Tree Kuala Lumpur. This follows 10 years of successful management tenures with the Group from 2004 to 2014. Prior to joining Banyan Tree Kuala Lumpur, Anders served as Vice President of Hospitality in DAMAC Hotels & Resorts, Dubai. Throughout the span of his career, Anders has been recognized for his leadership accomplishments on numerous occasions, such as being named one of the "Hotelier Middle East Power 50" for establishing himself as a leader in the hospitality industry in 2012 and 2013. In his current role with Banyan Tree Kuala Lumpur, Anders will oversee the resort's daily operations and lead the team into launching the hotel and maximising guest satisfaction.
In her role as Director of Sales & Marketing, Shereen will play an instrumental role in leading enterprising sales strategies to maximise hotel revenues and put the forthcoming hotel at the top of industry players' lists. With over 27 years of experience in the hospitality industry, Shereen has held directorial positions in the area of sales and marketing at one world hotel, The Saujana Kuala Lumpur and most recently, Hilton Worldwide - National Sales Office, Malaysia.
Tuarii, a Tahitian who has extensive overseas experience having held directorial roles in the area of food and beverage at the Mandarin Oriental Group in Boston and Switzerland, as well as the Director of Outlets of the W Hotel in San Francisco. Leveraging on his regional experiences, Tuarii will be responsible for the daily operations and management work of Banyan Tree Kuala Lumpur's restaurant and bar operations, including French-inspired bakery Bake by Banyan Tree, sky high afternoon tea and wine lounge, Altitude, the exquisite steakhouse Horizon Grill, and the highest hotel rooftop bar in the city centre, Vertigo.
With 24 years of housekeeping duties and hospitality experience under his belt, Azizan will be helming the housekeeping team at Banyan Tree Kuala Lumpur. Prior to this role, he has worked in numerous hotels and resort housekeeping teams, including DoubleTree by Hilton and the Hilton Hotels and Resorts Group, The St. Regis Hotel and Residences, Sheraton Subang Hotel and Towers, as well as the Sunway Putra Hotel.
Having worked in the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) industry for more than ten years, Nabeel brings with him extensive experience in planning, implementing and managing software applications and hardware infrastructure to support operations. As an ICT Manager, he oversees system integration and designs of networks to ensure Banyan Tree's ICT standards are upheld across all phases of Banyan Tree Kuala Lumpur's pre-opening and future operations. He has been with Banyan Tree group since 2011.

Whether it is in Laos, China or Malaysia, Remco's passion for the hospitality industry keeps him adept to ensure each guest leaves with a memorable experience.
Edward brings more than 25 years of industry experience from his home country Ireland, United Kingdom and Asia. After graduating from Shannon Hotel School and the University of Buckingham, Edward accumulated experience in operations and sales and marketing from Forte Hotel Group, Le Meridien, InterContinental Group, GLH Hotels and Shangri-La. He has been General Manager to eight different properties prior to taking the helm at PARKROYAL Penang Resort. Edward is no stranger to Malaysia having been the General Manager of Thistle Johor Bahru and also managing Thistle Port Dickson Resort previously. He was most recently the General Manager of Hotel Jen Manila by Shangri-La for three years
