Set within Christophe Harbour, the 126-room luxury resort spans the secluded beach of Banana Bay at the foot of St. Kitts" lush rolling hills and offers unobstructed views of the Caribbean Sea and neighboring Nevis. Offering a wellness sanctuary for restorative peace, the resort is also unveiling the first Miraval Life in Balance Spa in the Caribbean.

Güelman Ros has been appointed as General Manager at Four Seasons Resort Nevis

Four Seasons Resort Nevis has named Gonzalo Güelman Ros as the General Manager. A 25-year industry veteran, Güelman Ros brings to his role vast international luxury hospitality experience. He will oversee all operations for the property, which is presently underway with a repositioning project that will realise a new vision for the Resort that speaks to the modern Four Seasons traveller, while painstakingly preserving the humble charm of its small island home in Nevis.Prior to joining Four Seasons Resort Nevis, Güelman Ros most recently served Four Seasons Resort Punta Mita, where he held the position of Resort Manager for three-and-a-half years. Previous management experience includes international roles at InterContinental Hotels Group, The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company, Conrad Hotels & Resorts, Hyatt Hotels Corporation and the Alvear Palace Hotel in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Park Hyatt St. Kitts Christophe Harbour announces the opening of the island"s first luxury beach resort and the first Park Hyatt hotel in the Caribbean region, scheduled to debut on November 1, 2017. The 126-room resort will span the secluded beach of Banana Bay, at the foot of the island"s lush rolling hills. It will enable guests to discover this idyllic island in the West Indies through sophisticated design, art, culinary experiences and immersive excursions.

Ketut Agustika has been appointed as Executive Sous Chef at Christophe Harbour

Christophe Harbour, the 2,500-acre premier luxury resort community and superyacht marina in St. Kitts, is delighted to welcome Ketut Agustika as Executive Sous Chef of both The Pavilion Beach Club as well as the award-winning beachside bar, SALT Plage. With more than 20 years of experience with some of the world’s most illustrious luxury resorts and a passion for embracing local flavors in his cooking, Agustika blends harmoniously with Christophe Harbour’s modern Caribbean cuisine. The appointment comes at a pivotal point for Christophe Harbour as the development prepares to debut phase two of the marina village by the end of 2017 which will include an 11,000-square foot three-story customs house, as well as the completion of the luxury retail shops. Park Hyatt St. Kitts, the first Park Hyatt property to launch in the Caribbean, is slated to debut in November 2017. Originally from Bali, Agustika has extensive experience working at several Aman resorts across southeast Asia where he specialized in Asian cuisine and previously worked alongside Christophe Harbour’s Executive Chef Barnaby Jones. Most recently, he spent the last 12 years throughout the Caribbean, including Antigua at Carlisle Bay and most recently at The Pink Sands Club on Canouan Island where he held the position of Executive Chef. Throughout his career he has mastered international fine dining and French cookery from focused training with premier chefs. His distinct cooking style will bring fresh, global flair to the kitchen, while using locally sourced ingredients.

Julian Moore has been appointed as General Manager at Park Hyatt St Kitts

Park Hyatt St. Kitts Christophe Harbour, scheduled to open Summer 2017, announces the appointment of its executive team. Park Hyatt St. Kitts will be the first Park Hyatt in the Caribbean region and the island’s first luxury beach resort. Julian Moore, a hospitality industry veteran, has been appointed General Manager. Mark Guthrie joins the team as Director of Sales & Marketing.As General Manager, Julian Moore will oversee all resort operations and its current journey to opening. An Australian native, Moore is a passionate hotelier who started out as a bellman at The Regent in Melbourne, and spent the next three decades in specialized leadership positions from Dubai to Thailand. Most recently, Moore spent two years as General Manager at Park Hyatt Hadahaa in the Maldives, where the resort garnered prestigious recognition under his guidance. In fact, Moore was recognized as Top General Manager for the Maldives at the 2014 Linara Travel Awards.

Mark Guthrie has been appointed as Director of Sales and Marketing at Park Hyatt St. Kitts Christophe Harbour

Mark Guthrie, with more than 15 years of experience in the hospitality industry, leads the sales, marketing and communications initiatives for Park Hyatt St. Kitts. He joined the Hyatt family in 2008 as the director of sales for Hyatt Regency London, The Churchill. In 2013, he moved to the U.S. as the director of sales, marketing & events at Park Hyatt Washington, D.C.

Max Loayza has been named Director of Food and Beverage at Four Seasons Resort Nevis

Four Seasons Resort Nevis welcomes the appointment of Max Loayza to Director of Food and Beverage of the Caribbean resort. Since taking on the position, Max has overseen the Resort’s top-rated gourmet culinary program, focusing on fresh, locally sourced ingredients and creativity.Max grew up in Ecuador in a family of restaurateurs, where he learned marinades, grilling and restaurant management principles at a very early age. Max left Ecuador for Switzerland to attend Les Roches Hotel Management School and from there, his international career took off. Max has held positions at various hotels and resorts throughout the world including St. Barth’s, Doha, Shanghai, Mexico, Maldives, and the former Four Seasons Resort Great Exuma in the Bahamas, for which he trained on Nevis for that resort’s opening as a young Food and Beverage Manager.Since his appointment, Loayza has helped develop the new beach bar called Kastawey, a relaxing and eclectic space that was inspired by the laid-back vibes of the Caribbean. At Kastawey, guests can enjoy delicious gourmet seafood inspired dishes and refreshing cocktails including the Kastawey Smash rum punch.

Francois Cimon-Kingsley has been appointed as Director of Spa at St. Kitts Marriott Resort & The Royal Beach Casino

Francois Cimon-Kingsley brings over a decade of experience to the St. Kitts Marriott Resort team as the new Director of Spa. His career began as the Spa and Recreation Manager at the Ritz Carlton Cancun and from there he held positions at several other spas throughout Mexico, including Le Meridien Cancun and the Spa at Las Vantanas in Los Cabos. In 2002, he joined Villagroup Resorts where he designed and opened The Desert Spa, the largest spa and fitness facility in Baja California, Mexico. Most recently, Francois was the Area Director for the company Super Fitness Mexico where he oversaw several large fitness centers throughout Mexico.

Bruce Wilson has been appointed as Director of Golf at St. Kitts Marriott Resort & The Royal Beach Casino

Seasoned golf professional Bruce Wilson joins the St. Kitts Marriott Resort team as the new Director of Golf for the Royal St. Kitts Golf Club. Originally from Colorado, Bruce graduated from the San Diego Golf Academy and is also a member of the PGA. Previously he oversaw golf operations at Kittitian Hill as the Director of Golf. His golf career began at the Four Seasons Resort and Club Dallas at Las Colinas in Texas before he transferred to the Four Seasons Resort in Nevis, where he worked for 17 years as the head golf professional.

Lawrence Tuck has been appointed as Resort Manager at Four Seasons Resort Nevis

Four Seasons Resort Nevis today announced the appointment of Lawrence "Larry" Tuck to Resort Manager. With more than 20 years of experience, Mr. Tuck joins the award-winning Resort just in time for its 25th anniversary celebration throughout 2016. Canadian-born Mr. Tuck was most recently the Resort Manager of the Hilton Seychelles Labriz Resort and Spa. Additionally, he has worked for other hospitality brands such as Fairmont, Sofitel, InterContinental, and Westin. Mr. Tuck enjoys many outdoor activities, including golf, scuba and running.
