Stephen Burt has been appointed as Chairman at Travelodge Hotels Asia

Singapore's ICP has appointed veteran hotelier Stephen Burt to the role of chairman of Travelodge Hotels Asia. With over 25 years of experience in hotel management, investment and fund management, Burt will be instrumental in growing the Travelodge brand in Asia and furthering ICP’s hotel investment and management ambitions.Prior to this, Burt was managing director, hotels, Asia-Pacific for Colliers International. His earlier roles include CEO of Mirvac Hotel group, managing its hotel fund management platform, as well as CEO of Mirvac Hotels and Resorts, a chain of 45 hotels across Australia and New Zealand. Burt was also a co-founder of Jones Lang LaSalle’s Hotels and Hospitality Group.

Renato De Oliveira has been appointed as Hotel Manager at The Ritz-Carlton, Millenia Singapore

In his capacity as Hotel Manager of The Ritz-Carlton, Millenia Singapore, Renato is responsible for the management and operations of the hotel’s 608 guest rooms and suites. He oversees the entire Rooms Division comprising the Front Office, Guest Services, Concierge, Housekeeping and The Ritz-Carlton Club teams, in addition to The Ritz-Carlton Spa, Engineering, and Loss Prevention departments.

Nicolas Bailet has been appointed as Executive Assistant Manager for Food & Beverage at The Ritz-Carlton, Millenia Singapore

Nicolas joins The Ritz-Carlton, Millenia Singapore from the Bulgari Hotel London, where he has been the Director of Food & Beverage since 2013. In his new capacity as Executive Assistant Manager for Food and Beverage, Nicolas will oversee the Food and Beverage operations for Colony, Summer Pavilion, Chihuly Lounge, In-room Dining, Banqueting, Restaurant Reservations, and will lead the hotel’s Food and Beverage promotional strategies.

Sharul Madi has been appointed as Director of Sales – MICE at The Ritz-Carlton, Millenia Singapore

Sharul’s hospitality career started at The Raffles Hotel in 2002 where he handled Catering Sales for three years before he joined The Ritz-Carlton, Millenia Singapore’s Catering team in 2005. Between 2005 and 2013, Sharul rose through the ranks and served as Associate Director of Sales for Business Travel and Regional Sales Manager before moving to The Westin Singapore as part of their pre-opening team to oversee Catering and Group Sales.

Louise Daley has been appointed as Deputy Chief Executive Officer Asia Pacific at AccorHotels

Louise Daley has been appointed Deputy Chief Executive Officer Asia Pacific. She has been with AccorHotels for 26 years, having commenced her career in Australia before relocating to Bangkok in 2002 as General Manager, Finance for AccorHotels Asia. In 2005, she returned to Australia as Chief Financial Officer for AccorHotels Pacific. Louise assumed the role of CEO, Accor Advantage Plus (now Accor Plus) in 2011, helping to grow the business to 45 sales offices in 11 countries and expanding membership more than 30%.

Frank Trampert has been appointed as Managing Director and Chief Commercial Officer - APAC at Sabre Hospitality Solutions

As the Managing Director and Chief Commercial Officer - APAC, Trampert will lead Sabre’s hospitality business in Asia Pacific, with responsibility for its financial performance, customer engagement and overall growth across the region. He has deep experience in both hospitality operations and technology in Asia Pacific including leadership positions with Wyndham Hotel Group in Hong Kong, Carlson Hotels across four continents, Brand Karma in Singapore, and most recently as the CEO for Tune Hotel Group in Malaysia.
