Janet McNab has been named Area General Manager, South Thailand and General Manager at The Westin Siray Bay Resort & Spa

Starwood Hotels & Resorts recently has appointed Ms. Janet McNab as Area General Manager, South Thailand; and General Manager of The Westin Siray Bay Resort & Spa, Phuket. A distinguished hotelier, Janet is originally Australian and started her first Starwood experience at Sheraton Brisbane Hotel & Towers. Upon completion of an MBA in Australia, she began an International career by moving to China. Subsequently, she became General Manager at Le Meridien Nirwana Resort & Spa, Bali in Indonesia. Thereafter, she pursued her personal enrichment of the General Manager role in Bangkok, Thailand.

Stefano Ruzza has been appointed as General Manager at Conrad Koh Samui

Ruzza joins Conrad Koh Samui from Hilton Namhae Golf & Spa Resort in South Korea where he held the position of general manager and was responsible for leading the team in improving overall service standards as well as introducing new food and beverage concepts to enhance guest experiences. Prior to that, he was the director of operations at Hilton Colombo in Sri Lanka where he looked after operations and general management, as well as the business development team between 2008 and 2010. Originally from Switzerland, his work has taken him to countries such as India, Malaysia, Thailand, the Philippines, Sri Lanka, South Korea, Singapore and Vietnam. Ruzza graduated from Swiss Hotel Management School (SHL) in Lucerne. He is an Italian-swiss hotelier who can speak fluently in English, German, Italian, French and Spanish.

Killian Donoghue has been appointed as General Manager at Renaissance Koh Samui Resort & Spa

Mr. Donoghue started his career with Marriott in 2001 working in Sales & Marketing at Hamburg Marriott Hotel, Germany before relocating to Thailand in 2005 working as Director of Sales & Marketing for MEA Mayfair Bangkok and for JW Marriott Bangkok, Courtyard Bangkok and Renaissance Koh Samui respectively. His most recent position was Market Director Sales & Marketing for a group of Marriott hotels in Amsterdam. He is now ready to lead the Renaissance Koh Samui Resort & Spa, a heavenly hideaway of 78 villas and deluxe rooms on Lamai Beach of Samui Island and is all set to inspire and help guests Live Life to Discover. With his collected experience and deep appreciation of Thailand and its people, a strong background in sales and marketing, the team is excited to know that he will be a great addition to the existing team and lead with great enthusiasm to future successes.

Komson Sevatasai has been appointed as Director of Sales & Marketing at Regent Phuket Cape Panwa

Mr. Sevatasai joins Regent family with nearly 30 years of hospitality experience in senior management, sales and marketing positions with expertise in both sales and marketing and business development. Mr. Sevatasai was the Regional Director of Marketing, Banyan Tree Hotels & Resorts, Thailand, managed marketing and advertising for the brand across Thailand and worldwide. A graduate of the Oklahoma City University, U.S.A. where he earned a Master Degree in the Liberal Arts- Mass Communications.
