Matt Ojinaga has been appointed as Director of Sales and Marketing at Thompson Denver

With nearly 20 years of hotel sales experience—including an impressive 17 years with Hyatt—Matt Ojinaga brings a seasoned approach to Thompson Denver as its new director of sales and marketing. In this role, Ojinaga will oversee the sales team, drive revenue, and manage all strategic marketing initiatives. Ojinaga began his career in hospitality at Rosewood Inn of the Anasazi and Inn & Spa at Loretto in Santa Fe, New Mexico before kicking off his tenure with Hyatt at Hyatt Regency Albuquerque. Ojinaga then joined Hyatt Regency Mission Bay Spa & Marina in San Diego as group sales manager, followed by sales leaderships roles at Hyatt Regency O'Hare in Illinois and at both Grand Hyatt Denver and Hyatt Regency Denver. Ojinaga later returned to California as the director of sales, events & marketing at Andaz West Hollywood in Los Angeles. A true stalwart of the Hyatt brand, Ojinaga has earned various awards and accolades for his contributions over the years, including "Associate of the Year," "Sales Elite Performer," and "Events Team of the Year."

Tom Barber brings decades of deep hospitality experience to Mission Hill. He is a highly accomplished C level executive with a career that has focused on finance, operations, strategy, sales, and mergers and acquisitions. Previously, he served as Global Chief Development Officer of Wyndham Hotels & Resorts, the largest global franchisor of hotels, where he had direct global responsibility for Sales and Design and Construction. As head of Corporate Development for Wyndham Worldwide, he led the spinoff of Wyndham Hotels & Resorts from Wyndham Worldwide, the $2 billion acquisition of La Quinta Hotels & Resorts, and the $1.3 billion divestiture of European Rentals, among other transactions. Earlier in his career, he was Director of Mergers and Acquisitions at Credit Suisse. Tom earned a Master of Business Administration degree from Cornell University and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Washington.

Prior to joining Mission Hill Hospitality, Carmen played a pivotal role in growing the select-service hotel portfolio for Investra Capital, a Dubai-based private equity firm, acquiring over $400M in assets for the firm and serving as the portfolio asset manager. Earlier in her career she served in an asset management capacity for IFA Hotels & Resorts, as well as a bankruptcy analyst, developing numerous plans of reorganization for hotel debtors in Chapter 11. Carmen is a graduate of the University of Tennessee and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics and International Business, and a Master of Business Administration with a specialization in International Finance from Charleston Southern University.

Mark Fraioli has been appointed as Managing Director at Mission Hill Hospitality

Mark Fraioli has extensive experience in select service hotels, including roles in the Investment Sales division of JLL’s Hotels & Hospitality Group, with a special emphasis on select service hotels in urban and suburban areas. In his 12-year career as a hotel broker, Mr. Fraioli has advised the sales of hotels affiliated with all the major brand families, from mid-market transactions priced below $10 million to portfolio transactions over $100 million. During the most recent real estate cycle, he advised the sale of more than 65 hotels and portfolios, collectively valued at more than $1.8 billion. Prior to JLL, Mr. Fraioli worked for Marriott International from 2001 to 2006 in roles that included franchise sales, financial analysis, and management contract negotiation. Mr. Fraioli holds a Master of Business Administration from the SC Johnson Graduate School of Management at Cornell University and a Bachelor of Arts from Brown University.
