Niel Mason has been appointed as General Manager at OHANA Waikiki East Hotel

Mason moves to Hawaii from Australia, where he was most recently general manager of the Outrigger Little Hastings Street Resort & Spa, Noosa. Mason’s tenure with Outrigger has also included general manager positions at the former Outrigger Coolangatta Beach Resort and at Outrigger Twin Towns Resort. Prior to Outrigger, Mason held general manager positions at Sands Turtle Beach Resort in Mermaid Beach; for the Mantra Group; and for Rydges Hotels and Resorts’ Eaglehawk in Canberra. He also held management positions at Duxton Hotel in Melbourne; Broadwater Beach Resort in Bussleton; Rendezvous Observation City in Perth; The Beaufort Darwin; and Hyatt Regency Adelaide and Ramada Grand Glenelg. Heavily involved in the community, Mason is treasurer for Tourism Noosa, Ltd., and was on the board of directors for Destination Tweed, Inc. He’s also served on The Queensland Tourism Industry Council and the Hastings Street Association, in addition to partnering with several community organizations. Tim Alex has been appointed as sales manager at Waimea Plantation Cottages, A Coast Resort,

Alex has spent the past 33 years working and living in Hawaii. With a background in advertising, Alex moved to hospitality sales in 2001 and has stayed there ever since. Alex previously worked for Outrigger Hotels & Resorts and Outrigger’s Condominium Division and focused on helping them grow their business. As sales manager of Waimea Plantation Cottages, he will spearhead sales and marketing efforts with key travel partners, promote the property’s events and implement strategic initiatives to capture maximum market share. In doing so, he hopes to enable guests to have the best stay possible by sharing the special ambiance the property provides.

Gregg Enright has been appointed as General Manager at Waimea Plantation Cottages

Enright has spent the past 27 years at eight different resorts for Outrigger Enterprises Group in Hawaii. Enright most recently was the regional director of Outrigger's condo operations on Kauai, and served as the general manager of the Waipouli Beach Resort & Spa since 2007, according to an Outrigger newsletter. Enright studied at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York before working in food and beverage while living in Manhattan.

David Betham has been appointed as General Manager at Courtyard Oahu North Shore

Lodging Dynamics Hospitality Group, today announced that Laie resident, David Betham, has accepted the position of General Manager for the new Courtyard by Marriott hotel set to open in Laie, Hawaii this summer. David Betham has an extensive hospitality background, gaining experience from hotels in Oahu in operations and finance positions for several hotel brands. He has also worked in a number of other travel‐related and tourism industries in Hawaii, including the Polynesian Cultural Center. David is a graduate of BYU ‐ Hawaii with a degree in Business Administration. Betham will oversee all aspects of the new hotel's operation, including implementation of brand service strategy and initiatives.

Cindy Racco has been named Resort Manager at Four Seasons Resort Hualalai

Fresh from the exciting challenge of the rebranding and opening of Four Seasons Resort Rancho Encantado Santa Fe, 20-year industry veteran Cindy Racco makes the familiar move from desert to ocean. As Resort Manager of Four Seasons Resort Hualalai, Racco again returns to a beach setting, this time on beautiful Hawaii Island. Prior to her appointment in Santa Fe, Cindy had her toes in the sand at Four Seasons resorts in both Palm Beach and Santa Barbara. Her career began in the desert of Texas, at the Omni Mandalay Hotel at Las Colinas in Irving, before her first taste of island life at The Ritz-Carlton San Juan, in Puerto Rico. Cindy’s tenure with Four Seasons began in 1998 with her appointment at the brand’s Philadelphia hotel.Racco holds a Bachelor of Business Management degree from the University of Texas, San Antonio, and speaks fluent English and Spanish. A native of San Antonio, Texas, Cindy now lives on Hawaii Island with her wife Tiffany and their 10-year old son Jack. Her hobbies include golf, Bikram yoga, stand-up paddleboarding and dining with friends and family.

Todd Raessler has been appointed as General Manager at St. Regis Princeville Resort

Raessler joins The St. Regis Princeville Resort from The Phoenician & The Canyon Suites Resorts in Scottsdale, Arizona, where he oversaw both properties as the Resort Manager. During his tenure, the resorts were awarded the prestigious AAA, Five Diamond Award. The Canyon Suites Resort was also awarded the Forbes, Five Star Award during the time that Raessler was at the helm. Prior to his role at The Phoenician & The Canyon Suites Resorts, Raessler was the Resort Manager at the Sheraton Wild Horse Pass Resort in Arizona. He has also held positions as Hotel Manager of The Westin Century Plaza Hotel and The St. Regis Los Angeles, in addition to General Manager roles of two Kimpton Hotels, theSir Francis Drake Hotel and the Harbor Court Hotel, both in San Francisco. Raessler attended Cornell University's School of Hotel Administration, where he received his B.S., and has spent over two decades since then building his hospitality experience across the country.

Danny Mynar has been appointed as Assistant General Manager at Destination Resorts Hawaii

Danny Mynar is named the assistant general manager of Destination Resorts Hawaii by Destination Hotels & Resorts, one of the largest luxury vacation rental companies on Maui. Mynar previously served as general manager of Travaasa Hana. Prior to his most recent post at Travaasa Hana, Mynar held management positions at Grand Wailea, Hyatt Regency Maui and Fairmont Kea Lani.

Donald Chock has been appointed as Director of Sales & Marketing at St. Regis Princeville Resort

Chock is an industry veteran and joins The St. Regis Princeville Resort from his previous position of Vice President of Sales and Marketing with Wavecrest Resorts, Inc. and Hilton Hotels & Resorts. Prior to those assignments, Chock worked for The Grand Wailea Resort and Spa and also held sales positions at The Ritz-Carlton, Kapalua, The Ritz-Carlton San Juan and The Ritz-Carton, Marina del Rey. Chock is a graduate of California State University at Long Beach with a Bachelor of Sciences in Human Resource Management and a Minor in Marketing. He is currently a member of SITE (Society of Incentive Travel Executives), CMP (Certified Meeting Professionals), MPI (Aloha Chapter/Orange County/Southern California) and CALSAE, and is on the Board of Directors for the HB Educational Foundation and the HB Surfing Walk of Fame.

Stacy Manzo has been named Director of Sales at Aqua Kaua’i Beach Resort

Aqua Hotels and Resorts, a division of Aqua Hospitality, is pleased to announce the appointment of Stacy Manzo as director of sales for the oceanfront Aqua Kaua'i Beach Resort. Most recently, Manzo was account director - Leisure Sales at Westin Princeville Ocean Resort Villas and Sheraton Kaua'i. Her Hawai'i hotel sales experience also includes director roles for Outrigger Hotels & Resorts and Turtle Bay Resort. She also held key sales and marketing positions in California at Hotel Valencia Santana Row, Crow Canyon Country Club and Classic Custom Vacations.

Richard Oshiro has been appointed as Director of Sales and Marketing at Outrigger Reef on the Beach

Oshiro joins Outrigger from the Miramar At Waikiki where he was executive assistant manager and director of sales and marketing. Previously Oshiro was regional director of sales for Westcoast Hotels; director of sales for Waikiki Parkside Hotel; sales manager at the Coconut Beach Hotel; and account manager at the Sheraton Makaha Resort and Country Club.

Sheryl Tsugawa has been appointed as Assistant General Manager at Outrigger Reef on the Beach

Tsugawa joined Outrigger in November 2010 as sales and marketing manager to the newly transitioned Holiday Inn® Waikiki Beachcomber Resort, an Outrigger-managed property and most recently as director of sales. Prior to joining Outrigger, Tsugawa was the operations manager of IHG Army Hotels in Honolulu (lodging units at Tripler Army Medical Center and Ft. Shafter) and associate manager, development marketing at IHG's corporate offices in Atlanta, GA.

Debbie Murakami has been promoted to Assistant General Manager at Holiday Inn® Waikiki Beachcomber Resort

Prior to the Holiday Inn® Waikiki Beachcomber Resort, Murakami held the front office manager position at the Courtyard by Marriott Waikiki Beach, The Wyland Waikiki and the Outrigger Reef on the Beach. Murakami joined Outrigger in 1996 as guest services manager at the Outrigger Waikiki on the Beach after gaining experience in guest services at the Hilton Hawaiian Village, night audit at the Kahala Mandarin Oriental Hotel and concierge at the Halekulani Hotel.
