Southern California's effortless coastal destination in the heart of Newport Beach, Lido House, an Autograph Collection hotel, is pleased to announce the appointment of André Brose to the role of General Manager at the 130-room, nautical-inspired beach house.With nearly 20 years o f hospitality experience, Brose brings a well-versed background and rich expertise to the luxury, Cape-cod infused hotel. As the General Manager of Lido House, Brose is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day management of the hotel's operations and upholding the highest standards of guest service. He is tasked with supervising project development, employee engagement, guest satisfaction, company culture, and also brings innovative strategies to the table with the goal to provide elevated experiences to the next generation of travelers.Originally from Germany, Brose relocated to the United States in 2016 and has built an impressive repertoire with key leadership roles in the industry. Prior to joining the Lido House team, Brose served as Hotel Manager for The West Hollywood EDITION in Los Angeles, where he led his team through the unprecedented times of COVID-19. Before making the move to Southern California, Brose had roots in San Francisco as the Hotel Manag er of The St. Regis San Francisco, where he helped regain the hotel's coveted 5-star Forbes status. Brose held multi-faceted positions throughout his career, including being an Executive Assistant Manager at The Sheraton Grand Hotel & Spa Edinburgh in the United Kingdom and various roles during his tenure at Le Méridien Hamburg in Germany.Brose received his Master of Business Administration in Tourism and Hospitality from Edinburgh Napier University and also earned certifications from Cornell University in hotel revenue and hospitality management. He was awarded two 'President's Awards' for his notable achievements with Starwood Hotels & Resorts prior to joining Marriott International. When not in the office, Brose can be found exploring his new city of Newport Beach.

Great Wolf Lodge Breaks Ground In Maryland For Brand’s Largest Resort

Mid-Atlantic families will have something fun to howl about in 2023 as Great Wolf Resorts, Inc., North America's largest family of indoor water park resorts, broke ground today on its newest resort in Perryville, Maryland. Great Wolf Lodge Maryland will become the brand's 20th resort in North America, and the largest, with 700-family-friendly suites and a 126,000-square foot indoor water park. The resort will sit on 48-acres on the western edge of Cecil County, making it a convenient family getaway for those in Baltimore, Philadelphia, Wilmington and many other Mid-Atlantic and Northeast communities. With construction now officially underway, Great Wolf Lodge Maryland is scheduled to open middle-to-late 2023.

The award-winning Hotel Revival, a JdV by Hyatt hotel located in Baltimore, announced that Alexis Hernandez has joined the team as its new executive chef. With extensive experience working in fine dining and upscale restaurants in Peru, Chicago and Washington, D.C., Chef Hernandez brings a unique culinary perspective and blend of flavors to the hotel. His debut dinner menu is currently available at Topside and will be available as part of Baltimore Summer Restaurant Week, which begins July 23.

Kyle Stevens has been appointed as Director of Sales & Marketing at Signia by Hilton Atlanta

Signia by Hilton Atlanta has announced the appointment of Kyle Stevens as director of sales and marketing at the 975-room property which broke ground in May and is scheduled to open in late 2023. Stevens joins Signia by Hilton Atlanta from Hyatt Regency Atlanta and will lead strategic commercial, sales, and marketing endeavors for the first new-build premiering Hilton's Signia by Hilton brand while supporting the hotel's mission to provide an elevated experience for convention, business, and leis ure travelers. Signia by Hilton Atlanta is owned by Georgia World Congress Center Authority (GWCCA) and managed by Hilton Management Services.
