Caesars Entertainment Corporation (NASDAQ: CZR) ("Caesars Entertainment") today announced that, as part of its continued commitment to providing guests with the best possible experience, the company will be launching a $90 million complete renovation of 1,270 rooms at Flamingo Las Vegas. The renovation will begin in late August 2017, with the first guest arrivals expected in November 2017, and final completion of all rooms expected in the second quarter of 2018.

He brings twenty years of hospitality expertise to his position, which has been honed over the course of his career managing W hotels, with prior positions as General Manager at W Los Angeles – West Beverly Hills and Hotel Manager at W San Francisco. Eberwein launched his career as the Sommelier of Rancho Bernardo Inn’s El Bizcocho Restaurant, one of San Diego’s top fine dining establishments, overseeing a wine list of nearly 2,000 selections. He then held the title of Director of Food and Beverage, and Certified Sommelier at The St. Regis Deer Valley in Park City, Utah. Mary Orlando has been named general manager of the Platinum Hotel & Spa in Las Vegas, Nev. Previously she served as general manager of the AC Hotel Chicago Downtown and oversaw the transformation and rebranding of the property, Marriott’s newest lifestyle brand which opened in June, 2015. Orlando joined Marcus Hotels & Resorts in 2004 as general manager of Timber Ridge Lodge & Waterpark in Lake Geneva, Wis. and served as general manager of the company’s Chicago property from 2008 to 2015.
MGM Resorts International (NYSE: MGM) announced the promotion of Nik Rytterstrom to General Manager of Luxor Resort and Casino. A veteran of the hospitality industry, Rytterstrom most recently served as General Manager of the company's Goldstrike Casino Resort in Tunica, Miss.
Eric Fitzgerald has been named General Manager of Circus Circus Las Vegas. Formerly the Senior Vice President of Hotel Operations at Excalibur and Luxor, Mr. Fitzgerald joined the company in 2005 as Vice President of Hotel Operations at Excalibur. In 2009, he assumed the same duties for the Luxor resort, as well. Mr. Fitzgerald also has spent his entire professional career in the hospitality industry. He took his first position prior to college, serving as a lifeguard at the Las Vegas Hilton. After graduating from Arizona State University with a Finance degree, he followed his career to hotel positions in Los Angeles, San Francisco, Chicago and San Diego, before returning to Las Vegas and MGM Resorts.
MGM Resorts announced the promotion of Ann Hoff to General Manager of Excalibur Hotel and Casino. Ms. Hoff's move marks the creation of a new management team at the resort. In recent years, Excalibur functioned under a shared executive management team with Luxor. This team management operation succeeded through the hard work of many dedicated managers and employees. However, the decision has been made to revert to separate management teams to better exceed the expectations of customers at both resorts in this highly competitive marketplace. Ms. Hoff leaves her previous position as Vice President of Operations at New York-New York, where she has served since 2005. Upon her graduation from the UNLV with a degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management, she was selected for the MGM Resorts Management Associate Program and has been quickly promoted through the ranks, holding positions at resorts in Biloxi, Miss., and Las Vegas. In 2011, she was recognized as one of 17 Women to Watch by the publication In Business Las Vegas.
