Now Open: INNSiDE by Meliá Saigon Central in Ho Chi Minh City

Following the success of the INNSiDE by Meliá brand in Asia and globally, Meliá Hotels International today announced the opening of INNSiDE by Meliá Saigon Central, the first hotel operated under the INNSiDE by Meliá brand in Vietnam introducing a chic urban lifestyle to the region. The newly opened hotel marks another milestone for the group - the third brand to launch in Vietnam following Meliá Hotels & Resorts and Sol by Meliá, further consolidating Meliá Hotels International's commitment to the Asia Pacific region. Joining the group's portfolio in Vietnam, INNSiDE by Meliá Saigon Central is the seventh property operating in the region, with an additional five hotels in the pipeline.

Mathias Gerds has been appointed to the role of general manager at Evason Ana Mandara in Nha Trang, Vietnam.With over 20 years of experience in different roles and duties in luxury city and resort properties, Mathias brings a wealth of knowledge to his new position. Mathias enjoys traveling and seeks new adventures in his native Germany and beyond. He spent most of his working years in Austria, Russia, Seychelles, Thailand, Malaysia and China. He began his career in food and beverage, and then worked in senior roles at great hotel brands such as Anantara Siam Bangkok in Thailand, Kempinski Grand Hotel Heiligendamm in Germany, St. Regis Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia and Relais & Chateaux Palais Coburg, Vienna, Austria.Apart from his passion for travel, Mathias also loves good food and photography, and he looks forward to many new adventures at Evason Ana Mandara, Nha Trang, Vietnam.

Leading Spanish hotel Group, Meliá Hotels International has announced the opening of a new property in Vietnam, extending the Group's presence in the country. It currently operates six hotels in the region, with a further seven in the pipeline. Hyatt Announces Plan For Park Hyatt Hotel And Residences In Phu Quoc, Vietnam

Hyatt Hotels Corporation (NYSE: H) announced today that a Hyatt affiliate has entered into an agreement with an affiliate of BIM Group to develop a 110-key Park Hyatt Phu Quoc hotel as well as 65 residences. Slated to open in 2022, Park Hyatt Phu Quoc will offer discerning travelers a sophisticated resort destination surrounded by pristine nature. Park Hyatt Phu Quoc will join the award-winning Park Hyatt Saigon and is the luxury brand's first resort in Vietnam.

Meliá Hotels International, Spanish leading hotel group, today announced that it would take over the management of The Reed Hotel in May. The "bleisure"-focused property in Ninh Binh, Vietnam, will be completely rebranded as Meliá Ninh Binh by January 2020.
