Hyatt Regency Nha Trang will mark the first Hyatt- branded hotel in Nha Trang, Vietnam

Hyatt announced today that a Hyatt affiliate has entered into a management agreement with an affiliate of A&B Group for a Hyatt Regency hotel in Nha Trang, Vietnam. Set to open in late 2019, the 434-room hotel will mark the first Hyatt Regency hotel in Nha Trang, a coastal resort city in southern Vietnam boasting scenic white sandy beaches and rich culinary offerings.

Steve Wolstenholme has been appointed as Group Chief Operating Officer at Hoiana project

Hoi An South Development is pleased to announce the appointment of Steve Wolstenholme as Group Chief Operating Officer for the immense Hoiana project, a $4 billion dollar integrated resort located 30 kilometers south of Da Nang in central Vietnam. The first stage of the development comprising of 3 luxury internationally acclaimed hotels, a lavish casino, exceptional dining venues, and a distinguished golf course is due to open in 2019.Previously Mr. Wolstenholme held positions as Chief Operating Officer, President and Managing Direc tor for Okada Manila, the largest casino resort in the Philippines. He brings a wealth of international experience in Asia and North America to Hoiana, including senior roles as President and Chief Operating Officer for the 2000 room Grand Sierra Resort in Reno, Nevada, and Chief Operating Officer for Galaxy Macau.Wolstenholme holds an Executive MBA from the Ivey Business School at the University of Western Ontario in Canada and has served on numerous community and business boards and foundations around the world.

Roland Svensson has been appointed as Group General Manager at Alba Hospitality

Roland Svensson appointed Group General Manager, Alba Hospitality and General Manager, Alba Wellness Resort Hue in Vietnam. Mr Svensson has a wealth of hotel and resort experience, having worked in a number of international properties, commencing with senior Food & Beverage appointments in Dubai, Macau, Bangkok, Penang, Hong Kong and Queensland, where he was Director of Food & Beverage at Radisson Royal Palms Port Douglas for the opening in 1989 through to 1990.
