Brittany McGrade is now the Assistant General Manager of The Wyvern Hotel Punta Gorda- an Ascend Hotel Collection Member. Brittany Joined Edgewater Group LLC in 2017. Prior to joining the team, she was The Director of Rooms for Jaral Properties with InterContinental Hotels Group in New York. Brittany was awarded Top 40 under 40 in 2015 by the Young Professionals Network after displaying strong sales, operations and interpersonal skills. Brittany studied Sports Marketing at Farmingdale State College, and went on to study Women and Gender studies at Suffolk County Community College.

Carla Simpson has been appointed as Director of Finance at Universal’s Endless Summer Resort – Surfside Inn and Suites

Carla Simpson is Director of Finance. She has held various financial leadership roles since joining the company in 2013 at Loews Vanderbilt Hotel and Loews Annapolis Hotel, and was most recently Associate Director of Finance for Loews Hotels at Universal Orlando. Prior to joining Loews Hotels & Co, Carla was the Assistant General Manager of Homewood Suites by Hilton Nashville Airport.

Scott Blow has been appointed as Director of Engineering at Endless Summer Resort – Surfside Inn and Suites

Scott Blow is Director of Engineering. He previously served as Chief Engineer for Loews Sapphire Falls Resort and Chief Engineer for Universal's Cabana Beach Resort, and was part of the opening teams for both hotels. Blow's roots are in construction and his previous work experience includes major hotel and theme park projects throughout Orlando.

Robert Laurie has been named Executive Chef at Endless Summer Resort – Surfside Inn and Suites

Robert Laurie has been named Executive Chef. He joined Loews Hotels at Universal Orlando in 2015 as Sous Chef for Universal's Cabana Bay Beach Resort. Prior to this, he spent 14 years working for various Disney Resorts and was most recently Executive Chef for Disney's Vero Beach Resort. Laurie is a recipient of the Loews Legacy award, one of the company's highest honors.

Michelle Camacho has been promoted to Director of Human Resources at Endless Summer Resort – Surfside Inn and Suites,

Michelle Camacho has been promoted to Director of Human Resources. She was previously Complex Associate Director of Human Resources for Loews Royal Pacific Resort and Loews Sapphire Falls Resort. Camacho began her career with Loews Hotels & Co 17 years ago at the Loews Don CeSar Hotel and has served in a variety of human resources roles during her tenure.

Dan Parker has been appointed as Director of Food and Beverage at Endless Summer Resort – Surfside Inn and Suites

Dan Parker is Director of Food and Beverage. He was previously Director of Food and Beverage for Hard Rock Hotel at Universal Orlando and was responsible for all aspects of the award-winning hotel's food and beverage operations. He previously worked for Timpano Italian Chophouse, Ruth's Chris Steakhouse and Deniro's Food Inc.

Jason Moss has been promoted to Director of Rooms at Endless Summer Resort – Surfside Inn and Suites

Jason Moss has been promoted to Director of Rooms. Moss joined Loews Hotels & Co in 2011 and held positions at Loews Coronado Bay Beach Resort and the former Loews Lake Las Vegas Resort. After arriving in Orlando, he served as Front Office Manager on the opening team for Universal's Cabana Bay Beach Resort and was promoted to Director of Guest Services in 2016.

John Power has been appointed as General Manager at Endless Summer Resort – Surfside Inn and Suites

He brings more than 20 years of hospitality experience in Europe, the Caribbean and North America. He was previously the general manager of Loews Hotel 1000, Seattle and Loews Minneapolis Hotel. Prior to joining Loews Hotels & Co, Power worked for Hyatt Hotels for 10 years, starting as an intern and ascending to various leadership roles within the company.

Aloft Jacksonville Airport Completes $2.75 Million-Dollar Renovation

McKibbon Hospitality, an award-----winning leader in hotel development, management and renovations, today announced that the Aloft Jacksonville Airport has completed a $2.75 million-dollar renovation that encompass the entire hotel. McKibbon Hospitality manages the hotel, and Frazee Construction handled the renovations, which BB+M Architecture designed. Owned by Gehr Hospitality, the hotel is located three miles from the Jacksonville International Airport and just 15 miles north of downtown Jacksonville.

Michael Romei has been appointed as Chef Concierge at Faena Hotel Miami Beach

Romei joins Faena Hotel Miami Beach with over twenty-five years of concierge experience, most recently serving as the Chef Concierge of The Waldorf Astoria and Waldorf Towers in New York City. He has also served as the Chef Concierge for Boca Raton Resort & Club, A Waldorf Astoria Resort. Romei is the former General Secretary of the prestigious international organization Les Clefs D'Or and served on their International Executive Committee for 10 years. Romei has a BA from Manhattanville College and a MA in International Studies from New York University. He is Founding President of the Southern Florida Concierge Association as well as an Honorary Member of Les Clefs d'Or UICH International.
