Ryan will lead PM Hotel Group's strategic sustainability initiatives and be the direct point of contact for internal and external stakeholder collaboration.

Erin Meezan has been appointed as Chief Sustainability Officer (CSO) at JLL

JLL announced today the appointment of Erin Meezan as the firm's new Chief Sustainability Officer (CSO) effective October 1 reporting to Guy Grainger, global Head of Sustainability Services & ESG.She will be responsible for growing JLL's sustainability program, continuing its reputation as a purpose-led organization and its commitment to playing a leading role in sustainable real estate operations. Meezan succeeds Richard Batten, upon his retirement.Meezan joins JLL with more than 19 years of sustainability experience. In her role as Chief Sustainability Officer at Interface, Inc., she led and surpassed company goals to achieve carbon neutrality across all product lines, developed its strategy to achieve a carbon-negative enterprise by 2040 and achieved early success in its 25-year sustainability mission to have no environmental impact by 2020.

Kelly-Dawn Bentley has been appointed as Sustainability Manager at Nanuku Resort Fiji

Marine Scientist Kelly-Dawn Bentley re-joins Nanuku Resort in her new role as Sustainability Manager. A Fijian national, Bentley holds a Bachelor of Science and Postgraduate Diploma in Marine Science from the University of the South Pacific. Nanuku's deep commitment to 'responsible luxury' has earned the resort several sustainability awards, making Bentley's role key to the brand's ethos and core values. Known for her work with Nanuku's coral planting, reef conservation, mangrove tree planting and shore protection, Bentley will take an active role launching and coordinating targeted initiatives. Not only improving the local marine ecosystem but also maintaining the resort's minimal environmental footprint, and enhancing the livelihood of resort staff and local communities.

Piet Van Zyl has been appointed as Chief Regenerative Officer at Selo Group

Selo Group, an award-winning and fully integrated development company based in Singapore, announced the appointment of Piet Van Zyl as chief regenerative officer. Brune Poirson has been appointed as Chief Sustainability Officer at Accor

Accor announces the appointment of Brune Poirson to the role of Chief Sustainability Officer. Brune Poirson will report directly to Sébastien Bazin, Chairman and CEO, and will become a member of the Executive Committee. Her role will be to define, drive and monitor the commitments, the strategy and the roll-out of the Group's action plans in terms of sustainable development. She will also be responsible for the Accor Solidarity Foundation and the ALL Heartists Fund. This appointment will become effective on May 5th, 2021. Having always been committed to sustainable development, Brune Poirson has dual experience working in the private and public sector. Within the French government, she championed the anti-waste law, which among other things addressed plastic pollution, and has been a member of major organizations both in France and internationally. Until recently, Brune was a member of the French Parliament, and for three years was Secretary of State for the Environmental Transition. She was the first French person to be elected Vice President of the United Nations Environment Assembly. Brune Poirson began her career in London, within NESTA, the UK-based Innovation Foundation, subsequently moving to the French Development Agency, and the Veolia group in India, before working in a green start-up incubator in Boston. Brune Poirson, who is 38, is a graduate of the London School of Economics, Sciences Po Aix and Harvard Kennedy School of Government.
